They better kick it into over drive if they want that thing to be done next season. I expected to see a lot more progress made by now.

But two weeks ago the newspaper said they pretty much set the last huge piece of metal.

Could have been the topping out. Last piece of steel structure (I beam) going up is usually signed by the iron workers with a lunch on some jobs. Still more heavy decking and other items that require cranes.

The start was delayed. Once all the design loads were added to the structure it went back out to bid. The original steel couldnt hold the weights.

I've never been a Raiders fan, but i have been very impressed by owners being so grateful and involved. Every quarter catering bbq for everyone on site and just generally thankful.
Who is the GC.

I hope the Raiders don’t fuck up this town like Oakland but I guess we’ll see! The majority of the Raiders fans that go to the games done seem to be the most desirable clientele but again we’ll see if this proves different in Veagas. Hoping for the best!

So much less government corruption back then city was much safer!! Your buddy Harry Reid help turn it, biggest hypocrite of them all total fucking corrupt piece of garbage took their money then help run them out!!! You need to talk to a person that grew up in the city and get the truth not the media's bullshit!!

And not all Raiders fans are assholes many like myself respect the game and other fans and laugh at all the other idiots including the ones that root for other teams.

Nice progress. This stadium seems boring in comparison to the Rams/Chargers stadium. When I walked the Rams stadium they had the second tallest crane in the world sitting on-site, the size was unbelievable.

I don't see them selling this place out or even half attendance as most Raider fans are felons and cant leave the state. :D
Hahaha. On a serious note, they will never have a true home game where 90% of the fans in the seats are their own. It will always be 50/50 ish. The other teams fans are going to be more likely to go to their team’s away games in Vegas than anywhere else in the country. It gives them an excuse to go to Vegas and do what people do in Vegas all while telling their wives that the guys are just going for the game.

350 days is almost 3 years in LV terms. They’ll be 24/7 on this soon.

Massive projects like this impress the hell out of me. I've been on tiltups and high rises, but stadiums are such a odd structure to begin with, and then huge scale. All the equipment is big, and spread out. Multiple crews of the same trade on site working different aspects. Just a communication and scheduling nightmare.

The company I work for is on that job as well...I avoided that place like the plague. Instead working on a 3500 ton bridge project.
It is a remarkable structure though. Mark Davis and team are there often, and it is true in that they are very thankful and excited for the stadium. The practice facilities are going as well in Henderson behind the Lion Habitat, and Henderson Executive Airport.

I could give two shits about the Raiders or Football in general, but it's pretty gnarly how fast that place has been going up.

It'll be interesting to see what other events they end up doing there.

The stadium will sell out every game. The tickets are going to be so expensive it will keep the riff rat out. My uncle and I are planning to be there for the first Broncos Raiders game to take place in that stadium and are expecting to pay upwards of $5K just to get into the building for that game. I’m pretty sure the riff raff types known to frequent Raiders games aren’t going to be able to shell out that kind of dough.

They were telling me UNLV games along with supercross. A huge event with be the PAC 12 championship game. Vegas paid a lot to get that there

Yeah i heard something crazy that season tickets were upwards of 30k. Maybe someone here knows.

It will sell out every game no doubt. People will use the game as an excuse to visit Vegas. This is what has already been happening with the NHL games, the amount of visiting team fans is insane.

Was out at the practice facility a few week ago, it's going up quick. And even though I'm a BRONCOS FAN, I have season tickets for the new Raiders stadium. View from my seats.
