Looking for a Hallett 255 walk through open bow. I know, so is everyone else. What’s out there and who has what?
Let me know.
By the way thank you to Mike 240 Hallett for the boat ride last weekend. It sold shannan on getting a new ride.

Low hour 496HO 24 in Pheonix. Has a stress crack right behind the windshield on both sides. He sent me a bunch of pics. Has a tear in one of the open bow cushions as well. Probably worth 45-50k. He is asking 59,900.

Is it common for 24’s to crack in those areas?

Not that I have seen. Might have happened towing. Would have to be beaten hard out on the water to crack like that on both sides. He didn't have an answer to how it happened.

Nice boat!
Had a 03 255 mcob with hp500efi. the 525 and I assume lighter open bow would be better.
I think he’s talking about a different 255 model.
I think he wants a “240” euro style 255

What the hell is a 240 euro style?
@HallettBill has a 255, which was a newer style 240. Both have the same bottom. There was a 255 before that that (to the best of my knowledge) was a completely different boat.

“Euro” style 240/255

And here, a completely different 255 (non 240) from my understanding https://www.riverdavesplace.com/forums/threads/2002-hallett-255-mcob-496-ho.204617/

The 255 is a 240 bottom with rounded lines and built in swim deck.
255 I know of are available in walk thru OB or MCOB.
The odd ball was a 250.

Agreed! That was going to be my next post! Especially if his,

Is really needing extra room! Plenty of room in my 240 open bow walk thru. Plenty of power to push @BUDMAN self proclaimed fat a$$ around with too!
Pics, specs, year?

You have to put in a sealed bid . . . blah blah blah

Seems you're really interested, every time I bring it up you can't help yourself and have to make a comment.

And to clarify, it doesn't have to be a SEALED bid, come on, I'll take an offer any way you want to send it.

You mad bro?

Went and took a look at this one today. Really loved it and the boat is in great condition with the exception of the front floor board. (it needs replaced) The seller is staying firm at his price of 75k which puts it just out of reach for me. I was told he’s having a Howard deck built so he has some time to sell.

Personally i'm not an open bow guy, but that boat has excellent colors. That boat will still look great in 30 years.
