Now the work begins. Gotta build a dump truck outta her. Ive owned new ones for drivers but this is my first brand new truck for me!! Waited 28 years for this. Wife is pissed. Her house has become truck parts storage central. The UPS guy is tired of delivering heavy parts to the house:D

Not to shabby. What you got for power and how many gears ????

I keep thinking of buying one and just working as little here and there...

Cool truck. What’s the reason you have to outfit it as a dump truck vs having them do it?

That engine is sound. More in Europe, Asia and Australia than US Cummins. I've been playing with this one which is a UK version:

Wife is pissed.

I got a good laugh out of that one.

I'm really happy for you. The combination of busting ass and a good economy has turned out nicely. Great job!

Very, very nice. What's the plan? What bed are you going with? Transfer, I assume?

Paccar huh? Did you have the choice of the Cummins?

Is your package the MX 13?

Is that the equivalent to the Cummins ISX ?

Yes. Had a choice. Ive had paccar before. They are a good motor. I do all my own repairs. Got all the computers. Ive educated myself over the years on emissions. They suck & break, but they dont scare me. Will outlast a cummins if properly maintained

Yes MX-13

Next one will be mx11

Rendering of the stripes goin on. Gonna need a couple tweaks still yes the stripe is straight. Hood has a slight slope View attachment 790997

No way, my ocd is still offended  :p Gotta follow the hood crease angle, then carry that angle across the door --- this will also more closely follow the seam angle below the window. :D Sure one hell of a cool truck for a guy who breaks windshields for a living  :p

I thought same. Easy enough for him to tweak on computer. We will see if it looks better. I doubt it tho. I think it will look like an angled stripe on a short hood

I dont see what u did

Bottom pic (Modified), the angle of the top stripe now runs parallel with the angle of the crease and top of your hood and abuts the crease.
That same angle now continues across the door.

In the top pic (Original), the top stripe is level, at the cab end of the hood, it's an inch below the crease and carries level across the door.
It does not match the angle of your truck's hood.
Now the top stripe angle matches the lines of the truck rather than being level in an angled world :p

if you don't mind me asking how much did you save buying out of state. I priced out of state and had the local dealer match the price.
If its you don't want to deal with the local rush truck center I understand I'm now buying from Inland Kenworth.

I payed $162k out the door. All taxes & license. Not apportioned.
Im not a fan of local dealers. I was buying all my trucks from a board member (DickieB) but he passed away. So I was on the search. Denver seemed like a cool place to visit. Lol. Thats literally why I picked it.
