Place Diverter Trim Switch Ideas?

I just picked up a Place Diverter and want to mount the switch on the original Morse throttle.
I do not want the big bulky clamp on rubber deal but would do something like Gaffrig had out then discontinued. The Gaffrig style looks to only fit a flat style arm and probably would need some adjusting or something.
If anyone has pics or info on a cool looking switch for the Morse lever please share. I have to believe this is a common issue.

I am intending on just recessing a small rocker switch into the ball myself, the shaft is hollow, so easy to run the wires down, make a relay do the work.

I'll put up pics when I get to it.

Mine is on the steering wheel. Works out pretty well

How did you route the wires too the dash?
