Not afraid of flying as long as I know that the pilot knows where to land. Friend [ he holds a commercial licence ] and I were flying to Port Hardy in a 10 seater twin Beach to pick up a boat he bought up there. We took off from Vancouver International in blue sky. Half way around in Campbell River we flew into a pea soup of fog to all the way to Port Hardy.Pilots announced that we may have to go Bella Coola instead because no visibility to land at Hardy. So, we both sensed that the plane is circling for a while, and bam, goes into a steep dive. We're literally drilled through a tiny patch of clear of the fog, landing in Port Hardy. When we cleared the fog, we're practically on the tarmac Grads would have shit his pants if he was on this flight. if you ever been to Port Hardy, you'd notice, every single boat there has radars.Fog there rolls in like no other place in British Columbia.
Ps; best halibut fishing is around Port Hardy!
