Heading up to Havasu tomorrow to run the boat and wanted to see what the best ramp closest to Parker or near the bridge is for a solo launch.

I have used the Nautical ramp and Site Six but after reading some the stories on the Nautical this past year I think I’ll steer clear and Site Six isn’t exactly easy for a solo launch.

Thoughts?

Take off point, between the two, there will be no one there, and a courtesy dock.

Windsor. And if you go to the last ramp ( deep water ramp) almost guaranteed you will be the only there. They also have a courtesy dock and close by parking.

Windsor north or lake havasu marina. You can tie up the boat and park your truck without headaches. [emoji736]

What’s the deep water ramp, the new one closest to the bridge?

Yes - Lot 4 ramp or far south whatever you want to call it. All of the Windsor ramps are pretty easy to solo launch this time of year.

I will help- What time are going to launch? I’m gonna launch around 10:30-11:00 at the marina. If you want to launch earlier, pm me. Heading to the springs. I can help as early as 7:30, let me know

Thanks for the offer, I solo launch all the time so I should be good.

First order of business this morning was a new prop.

Heading out from Big River now.

I've never launched at the springs but I launch by myself all the time at the marina with no issues

I launch solo year round, no big deal, I’ve been able to launch my boat tie it up to the dock and walk back to the truck and trailer before some yahoos are still figuring out how to back down the ramp. If the guy at the marina gives me crap about being solo in the summer on a busy day I give him the same response.

Few guys were solo launching today. Non-issue but could see summer crowds being a pain.

Meanwhile....

From Parker, I would do take-off point when it’s not busy or as a second option, cattail cove launch is pretty good too.

The marina worked great, even got a golf ride to my truck when I was loading up from one of the workers. Really nice ramp with plenty of space. Thanks for all the recommendations.

Cattail cove. It’s like the Islander. Launch. Beach it. Park. No fenders, No dock lines. Done.

So what prompted the solo roll through Havasu? Let’s see some more pics!

New prop for the roll bar boat came in and there isn’t enough water to crush docks down on the lower river so decided to change it up and hit Havasu.

My favorite ramp in all of Havasu is Cattail Cove. The long curtsey dock makes solo launching super easy. I only solo launch, even when family is with me, all the time.
