Not buying one any time soon; just making conversation and I'm a car guy that is always looking at cars and wondering which one was better. Personally I like the styling of the Mercedes but if it is an inferior product there would be no reason to consider one. I have never owned a Mercedes or a BMW. My parents had a 90s BMW 318is. What a great little car!!! I do like the two door coupes a lot.

I built this Merc on line. Really basic bottom of the line except for the black pack and 19" wheels. Good looking car.

EDIT. I forgot I actually had a BMW at one time. I won a BMW X5 in a sales contest in early 2001. The company I worked for leased it for me for a year and it caught fire on the 405 Freeway only a few months later. HAHA.

Nice but in a c63. I could get you almost 600 hp out of it.

I am a BMW guy and we have a couple of MBZ’s too. I prefer the MBZ over the BMW. The BMW’s I’ve built are up to 2004. Great cars but have their issues.

You might be able to get a CPO that is. Couple of years old. Their warranties are better than the new ones.

Yeah, just having fun looking. We actually live with one vehicle; that blows people away that we can only have a truck and bicycles. haha. However, circumstances may change in the future and I am always looking.

I actually really like the looks of the 2011 to 2015 Mercedes cars. Slightly more angular, but worry about reliability and such. How is a two to seven year old Merc with under 80k miles in terms of reliability?

Me too. We have a 2005 E320 CDI, 2009 CLK350 & 2012 E350 Bluetec. I like the the body style of the 2012 the best. 2012 for the E350 diesel was the best engine wise too. The new ones look nice but the rear ends look really Japanese copied.

You could get a CPO from MBZ starting 2014 and newer. The car would have to be less than 75000 miles. The only way I would buy those cars. Like I said, great cars but if something major problem goes wrong and you don’t have connections, it’s a lot of money. The minor stuff, you could do yourself.

We have a 2017 C300 w/ 2.0 turbo motor and it’s a great car. Very comfortable and fun to drive. 45,000 trouble free miles so far.
