2006 Chevy 2500hd 6.0 gas. Got a P0358 right now. I had it scanned at AutoZone. Ignition coil. Anybody got any tips and tricks to make this as easy as possible?
Thanks buddy! My friend called me yesterday and said to check the heater/coolant lines at the firewall. They are right above #8 and if the hoses leak, they will tear up that coilThats going to be coil #8 malfunction. Last digit of the code refers to the coil thats bad P0351-P0358. The coils are fairly easy to change on the ls based motors (on top of the valve cover). Not sure whats in the way on the 6.0 in terms of #8 but may want to youtube it.
