Last year we went and looked at toy haulers and said “can’t pull any of these”. This summer we looked at boats and “can’t pull that”

I have had half ton SUV’s and trucks my entire life with no interest in stepping up to a diesel. With the size of our family though, that same sentence keeps popping up over and over so I decided to solve that problem once and for all. Lol

the new Family truckster.. 2016 F350 Platinum. Bought if off an rdp member / re customer. Truck looks new!

my f150 is flawless and a really nice truck. I’m going to be Selling it in a couple weeks.

My son sold his 17 F450 jeez that thing was plush and loaded with all kinds of options.

This might be a keeper RD (probably until the next deal comes along :p).
Have fun.

I never had anything over a half ton until my first Cummins.
There is no comparison, IMO, of any half ton gas and ANY 3/4 + diesel...period.
Im back to a half ton Tahoe due to life curve balls, but as far as towing you will never go back unless forced to.

I dont use my diesel most of the time for what its capable of but it is nice to know I am not limited to a half tons limits.

My River neighbor has 1. 2018 with under 40k miles fully loaded. Pretty sure he would sell just sitting there last few trips. Has new engine ford just put in under warranty.

If I had Truck that didn't make it but 40k miles and needed a new engine, I would let it sit too.....
I didn't ask why he was not driving it. I moved it 2 trips ago so I could get my boat out. Was in the same place I parked it last weekend when I was out.

I drove it around a bit and it seems to ride nice already? As I get more familiar with it I’ll decide if I’m going to change anything
Be sure to watch those rear fenders on turns and around launches.... they jut way out there.... hate it when I see em crushed.

Welcome to the dually club! Nice truck!

Swing turns wide, no drive thrus, u turns are a pain, always park far away in the parking lot. It'll be interesting to see a recap in a year on how you've adjusted to daily driving a dually. I love mine.

You live in azirona and brought a black truck??? I bought a black on black camero in about 1980 and was forever cured! Couldn't even touch the steering wheel on a hot day ,and I'm in central wa.
By the way ,sweet rig and congrats!

Nice, the new Fords are pretty amazing and super comfortable to drive especially on long road trips. The only thing its missing is the rub and tug feature...

Nice truck. I have driven a few stock ones like you have and was pleasantly surprised at how nice the ride was.

mid I was gonna do anything I’d lower it I think. Easier for me to get in and out of..

that’s probably 15k worth of shit to make it look like that right?

A Carli setup with 2.5” of lift, and 2.5” King pintop shocks, starts about $3500.

Similar but with 4.5” of life would start around $4100.

I’d spend a bit more and put full deaver leafs in back.

Or you can save some coin and go with a setup with 2.0” shocks, but I would never recommend that...they won’t ride as nice and they look tiny. Higher-end Tacoma’s and Jeeps have 2.5” shocks.

Wheels and tires are up to you, but I can’t imagine you’d drop more than $8k-ish all-in?

I can get you a bro discount from the guys at CJC. Maybe you can even get those guys to finally become advertisers on your site [emoji106]

Nice truck! It should pull most anything you need it to. Duallies take a little getting used to in parking lots when bobtailing. Usually you'll swing into a spot, and not realize the right fender is close, and passengers may have to squeeze out. Nothing seems to tow like a dually though, until you step up to the mdt stuff...air ride seats, and 22.5 wheels...

...so maybe next summer?

Cool deal. I’m with you. It pretty much has it all. Just maybe some Ceramic tint all around and on the windshield if it doesn’t already. Nice truck.
