Maybe with the current landing, but the rest of the systems are far beyond what VonBraun had available. Even with the splashdown, it was close to a given area...not "over there somewhere".So we're back to 1960s technology with a water splash down, nice

It's surprisingly efficient, the vehicle only has to do one thing instead of two or three. And since it is private industry doing this, overhead is way lower than having half the Atlantic fleet out there.

Yeah about 25 private onlooker boats getting amazingly close
