I squeezed a 125cc bike engine in this '49 Autoette and I bet there's less room in it than either one of these carts. I really like that red one.

The red one is an Otis probably made in the 70’s. I thought about getting it running and cruise it around.

I talked to the guy with the second one because he swapped in a gas engine too, his goes 40 mph and has the stock drum brake.

These things were built here in Long beach and as a kid I can remember them all over the place, used almost exclusively by seniors that couldn't drive a car any longer. They were allowed to drive them on the sidewalks until an older guy took out another guy on top of a ladder changing the name...
