Asking prices don’t make a market.
But I will sell my truck for $50k :)

If you buy a new one right, it will be the same price as a 2 year old truck :)

That’s what led me to not only buy new, but also get in a 3/4 ton. 1/2 ton trucks are getting out of control. The market I guess.

I agree. I have been half heartedly looking for a dually. I can pay $55ish for a 7-8 year old Ford, GM or Dodge with 85,000 miles at used car finance rates. Or pay $70ish for a brand new, pretty well equipped, Dodge at 0% interest. I don't really want to buy new, as the truck will sit most of the time.

I haven't dug in that deep into the details, so maybe it will look different when I do.

Do you get a new ram 1500 diesel with some nice options and the 33 gallon tank and a few decent options for around 40,000 or a little less plus tax and license , That’s factoring in a few thousand factory rebate

I was at my local Chevy dealer last Fri. They have everything parked at angles, all spread out trying to make it look like normal inventory I guess... Never seen it like that, very strange looking.

Thats a pretty good price. If it were me, take the finance rebate with 0 down and go refinance it with your credit union in a month.

Mine was $52k and got it just under $40k before tax and license. Mine is a 2wd XLT in white. Mine was a late 2018 bought in March 2019 so the discounts were a bit more aggressive. Gosch is good people.

I paid $57,000 +T and L for my 2018 Ram Mega 4x4 Cummins Laramie Dually from Huntington Beach Ram. I know the prices have gone up, but I don't think they will be that far off. I know MSRP was $71,XXX on the window.

One thing to note, the front right tires on the Ram 3500 wear a little prematture or the NEXEN tires are garbage.

So you only get the $4250 rebate if you finance at 5.99%? You need to keep shopping!

Typical with Ford. Just refi the truck in a month or two. I’ve had them move on the interest number when you show them what your credit union offers, and still keep the rebate.

Seems like they are pretty crazy right now. I found better deals this weekend on new versus used. 1/2 tons are out of control.......like $50k for 2 year old truck with 40k miles on it.

I recently helped my daughter look for an F-150 and after looking for the right used one at the right price we decided a great deal on a new one with 0% interest was the best way for her to go. She was extremely specific though and not that willing to bend. Good luck

Man that’s crazy.

When I bought my CPO Silverado 2.5 years ago, it had 30k in it and was three years old.

Window sticker over $50k, I paid ~$28k for it.

You guys idea of a used truck is way different than mine I was thinking 20-year-old trucks.😂
Where is the poor white trash section of RDP?😂
We're still here, we just know when the conversation is above our "pay grade" ;)

My ass is rebuilding an engine on a 16yo truck. The price of a new 1ton could pay for a rental property out here!

Has anyone priced the new Escalades? I’m thinking of a new or 2 year old “Certified”.

im seeing new Escalades at $80,000 or more, but 72 month financing .09%.

if I go for an Escalade, I’ll probably sell my 2001, 2500 HD crew

Bought a 1 ton 4x4 SRW Ram diesel 2 weeks ago.. Mega cab, pretty well equipped for $64k. I was shopping for months to find one setup like I wanted at a price I would pay. I didn't check on the financing..but I've been told they have some good offers.

Most these new trucks cost more than I paid for my Jeep, the wife’s car and the kids car together. They were all purchased slightly used though.

$1,000 truck payment for 72 months doesn’t sound very appealing unless it’s making me money.

In the same situation everything is selling. I'm also on the hunt for something clean and priced right. I'd like it to be pre Def and fairly stock.

Diesel? Price and miles?

I’m not selling it now, hate to sell. Not trolling for offers here. 6.0, 4 Speed trans, 2WD, (overdrive) 4.10 rear end, all stock except for aftermarket XM and amp and bass and wheels.

What is the "AERO" displaying ?

it has air ride that adjusts at speed to a lower height for "aerodynamic ride height". Mine has the same. it also has entry/exit mode, as well as offroad 1 ad offroad 2 that lifts over stocl for additional height

And AERO can drop about 2" while parked, you can fit under a ball hitch then raise it. All Limited's have 4 wheel air bag suspension, I believe an option on Laramie but by the time you load up a Laramie, it makes no sense as it is about the price as a Limited. I run it ay half way even while towing, although RAM manual does not suggest this. My trailer is very low profile, so it works. Just an amazing truck. Figure 29 MPG at 80 MPH flatland, over 30 at 70 or so flatland, upper 20's around town unless you are lead foot. Diesels do not have a start/Stop mode, just HEMI's. About the only thing I could use is a pull out step in back.

I scored a 2016 f 150 4x4 xlt 3.5 ecoboost with 6,700 miles in March from a Mercedes dealer in Phoenix . Total score. I gave away my 1 ton dually 6.0 completely bullet proofed with 74k miles for 18 k🤦🏼
