Aren't there rules on the books stating that you are responsible for damage caused by the wake thrown by your boat? There are here. If that rule was enforced, as it should be, the problem would mostly go away. Had an issue with a fellow years ago that did not go well for him. Problem solved.

Exactly, moving the problem somewhere is isn't much of a solution. The lake is already pretty choppy most afternoons. The real answer is to enforce laws that are already on the books. Any boat that creates unsafe conditions for others or generates wakes that cause damage to property should be ticketed/fined, and removed from the lake for that day. If this were to happen often enough then the irresponsible operators will either start acting more responsible or go somewhere that they can act like idiots and no one cares.
