The custom built 70's "Patriot Race Boat" (now in private ownership) gets a JBP modern Jet drive "makeover" , this post will show The awesome New JBP 9 vane bowl contrasted to the worst bowl ever made honestly a Berkeley "C" bowl would have been an improvement , Cant wait to see what this epic old race boat does with modern technology and Son Josh's beautiful rigging , Now equipped with JBP nine vane, Place diverter, short droop , ride plate bridge and now it has reverse.. Great Job Son

Wish Roger were still around, would love to hear the entire back story to this build. He would NEVER install any other pumps In his hulls except for a Berkeley. Like I mentioned to you, I think this was a project that he had very little to do with and was more of a Jeff Paine build. Total speculation on my part here except for the Berkeley only rule. That was etched in stone.

just saw a '99 RogersTR on drag boat city, ad says it might be the last one Roger made. I was stunned to see it has a Legend pump in it!
So much for my Berk's only Roger's rule. haha
