Yes. Pain in the balls. A 10 minute visit to a customer could turn into 40 minutes. You should see it on Labor Day or mMemorial Monday Could be past the inspection stationI fucking hate that area! And I have to go through there in the next couple of hours. I usually take the canyon back down to Shinarump but I dont think I have enough gas to get back to the 95 gas stations

No. I stay in left lane from Kingman to Havasu. Sucks all the way. Especially around Yucca.Since I know you live there, have they done any pot hole repair on the 40 slow lane, between of just east of Shinarump & Griffith ? Last spring I was having to trailer in the # 1 lane as much as possible to avoid losing a tire or axle.

I always say every road in America should be like route 11 between Hoover Dam and Boulder City. Like driving on air. That's crazy they've let this get so bad for so long. Thanks for the head's up
Never ever drive without my Escort. And on top of that, the state troopers are hanging out - nailing people for speeding. They’ll probably collect enough money with citationS to fix that road.
Also notice the AZ staties? The logos are purposely faded so you can’t tell them until you’re on top of them. And on top of that, the state troopers are hanging out - nailing people for speeding. They’ll probably collect enough money with citationS to fix that road.

That’s very true on the zero tolerance. It’s best not to speed between Shinarump to the 93 to Phoenix turn off.yep remember too... from Kingman 40 east for 25 miles it’s zero tolerance. I’ve seen them pull over some heavy duty stuff.
One of the funniest ones I’ve seen is a Fed ex tandem trailer truck went eastbound on the westbound offramp @ Blake Ranch Road. The troopers had to shut everything down because he could not back down the ramp. All the truck drivers at the iron skillet we’re outside watching and busting up.
I actually saw a new one yesterday. I noticed at the last minute so didn’t get a good look but it was a statie in what looked like a Chevy Malibu type car. Could have been a Camaro but didn’t see it too well other than the logosyeah sure are. I set my cruise control to 77 and that’s good enough. On my motorcycles I keep the Valentine One on, saved my ass a couple times

I read somewhere that they had approved a budget for a new 60-65 million dollar interchange to avoid that mess, did they ever start working on it?
how do you get to the 40??????????I take the turn to Golden valley and come out on the 40 to avoid that.
how do you get to the 40??????????
thanks buddy, do you know if bacobi is paved now??? it was dirtFrom hwy 93 south, head West at hwy 68.
Turn left (south) at Aztec Rd. Follow to first stop sign.

Coming in from Vegas. Beale st onto the 40.Where exactly is that? Is that coming south from Vegas? We came up the 93 to the 40 then onto the the 68 on the way out of PHX to the River a few weeks ago. It was such a pleasant drive. Granted it was a Saturday evening.
Seems the 93 south of the 40 is well east of there. So, it makes me wonder, how will they tie the 93 north of the 40 to the 93 south of the 40?
Thanks, so roughly 9 years until completedI-40/US 93 West Kingman Traffic Interchange | Department of Transportation
