I just bought a 1966 427 Corvette Convertible. That was my favorite car to dream about when I was in high school. It only took 55 years to get one!
This is a two owner car that has never seen any bad weather. It was restored 20 years ago and has 4300 miles in the last 20 years since the restoration.
To say that I am very excited would be an understatement!

Nice!! Looks beautiful!!!

In high school our auto shop teacher had one on the alignment rack the 4 years I was at the school. Kept In touch with him all these years. Was always willing to give me motors and parts that he had laying around. Biggest bummer is when he was ready to part with the Car I was not in the position to purchase it.

My mother-in-law's boyfriend bought a clean '66 4 speed. It's just a small block car but it's clean and does have the 427 hood on it so it's nice to look at too.

So cool,

I've always felt that and the Cobra would be the ultimate drift car's, one that nice should not belong to me. :D

If it’s not already, get that thing ceramic coated and enjoy it guiltlessly for the next 5+ years.

Awesome ride~!

Tri-power or single/dual carb? 4 speed?

If it's only done 4300 miles in 20 years...not a bad idea to flush every fluid and install a new thermostat...

One of my top10 to own for sure!

Dave, all I can say is WOW!!!!! You sure get to play with a lot of fun toys! Since I was a kid and rode in Dad's friends '63 with a transplanted LT1 I've always had a love for the Stingrays! Doesn't get much better than that my friend!

Nice. When I was in high school,1980. My parents bought a 67 427 Muncie 4 speed convertible with hard top. I did manage to wreck it, not major, hey I was 16.
They traded it in on a buick century for $6800.
All matching could almost add a zero to that now.

Awesome! Sucker looks SHARP!

An uncle has a ‘65 327/365, covert with matching hardtop, 4sp, side pipes, knock-offs, Silver/silver he restored in around 1993. I love that Vette. Enjoy yours, it’s super nice!

Awesome! A sincere congratulations! I had a lucky trade in my high school years (1993). I also picked up my dream ride. Glad I could share it with my kids.

I would sell my Viper if I could buy my 66 back for what I sold it for in the early 80's  My buddy had a burgundy Howard and had to have the Vette to match it.

Congrats for your Vette Dave. I'd love to go for a ride again. BB rules. Matching your Maranello, in colour ;) 👍

It's been a long time coming. Congratulations! 👍👍

I bought my '67 L71 roadster in '77 for 5,500 bux. I should have kept it but my first choice was a split window but couldn't afford it at the time.

In '72 I turned 16 and had already saved up the $1500 to buy a 56 Ford pick up. Just after that a guy in our neighborhood decided they'd had enough of so cal and were moving to mammoth and he didn't was to take his '63 split window vette with them. Offered it to me for $2500. I begged my parents to loan me a grand to buy it (figured I could sell the pickup for what I paid) but there was no way that was going to happen. That was as close as I ever got to owning a vette.

Beautiful car @Dkhanjob, congratulations!

man that is a sweet looking car for sure. I'd be maybe willing to say that vintage vette is one of the top 3 best looking American cars ever made.

C1 is the only Vette I would like to have.

my neighbors dad bought it brand new! He remembers riding in it when he was a kid 3-4 years old, then his dad passed away at a early age, he was really young.

the car has been sitting since mid 90’s and he wanted it drivable when he retired.... he is now retired! And it’s bad ass! He tried to keep it as original as possible
