I have this pit in my stomach about this election. What happens if Trump doesn’t get re-elected? I have had a hard enough time starting a business the same day Arizona got shut down from Covid. I can’t imagine it being any tougher then that. Ugh anyone else feel this way about the election? I don’t think I will sleep through this election night. I will stay up until the winner is announced.

I feel the same way but don’t think a winner will be declared “until all the votes are counted” which will be days

I am hopeful that Trump will win. I like what I am seeing the past couple of weeks. Trump supporters rising up and showing the volume that are out there. We need to find Trump’s replacement for 2024 and get that transition going NOW. There is a movement andwWe can‘t allow the alt left to get a hold of the presidency. Let’s keep the train rolling!!!!!!

We survived 8 years of oblamo, 8 years of Bush and likewise Clinton.
Time marches on. All of you will just do what you have always done, Move forward despite negative impacts.
How many on here knocked on doors to clinch this?
If you didn't., suck it up and move on.

RIGHT, in the Climate Tension in our Country. Go knock on a stranger's door and talk Political B.S.

Tell me how that worked?

People are vandalizing property over Candidate Signs etc. People get shot over this Shit.

Imposing my Political belief by disturbing people in their home, is a line I won't cross.

I’m uneasy about it also, I think Trump will win though. We have a local Trump store and it was going off yesterday, so much enthusiasm it was amazing.
No Biden store that I’m aware of...
We are participating in the local Trump parade today with the family of a Sheriff friend.
We MUST and WILL win this election!!
We’ll feel better Tues. night.

The longer results take the more market fluctuation.
I hope Trump pulls it off, if not I sure as hope the Senate stay Republican.
Lawsuits on counting mail-in ballots are already taking place. States should get 3 days to count them, if ballots are postmarked / received by polling location on Election Day. Anything marked after Election Day, should be tossed.

What about your business model is affected by who is in the White House?

I am jumping back in the stock market tomorrow. I believe Trump has this clearly now. For a while I was wavering but feel good about it at this time.

the walk up votes are going to be big for Trump.

i am concerned a bit on all this after the election counting of ballots for up to a week afterwards though. Ripe for manipulation.

Its truly hard to believe you actually believe this statement. Everyone's business model is affected, unless you are a corporate giant or in government Biden is a disaster for your business. The rest of America actually appreciates small business and that is who Trump supported with his actual policies.

Btw this comes from someone who would probably get more business from Biden (well Harris/AOC), ie solar credits, but the Tax and Regulatory burdens imposed would take even more of the profits. Proudly Voted in person yesterday, Trump 2020!

I am worried about the long term slide to socialism. This is a bell-weather election, in my opinion. Here we are going to find out if the propaganda / indoctrination program that has its roots in the 60's is finally going to strike the blow at our country. Or, as some folks think, the younger people have seen through the scam that it is, and we survive as a nation built on freedom.
I am a bit of a skeptic, and all I know to do is prepare yourself for the worst, and work and pray for the best, and we have been doing so since the first world trade center bombing back when. The training I went to after that woke me up, and coupled with seeing my sons in public schools and reading what they were being told to believe..well we began looking forward and haven't stopped.
That is all we can do...for now. Be prepared, look at both long and short term issues that impact our families, and do all we can to be an example, and lead by example those who look to us for input. America still works, the Constitution still is the greatest government document ever written by men, but it needs good people to stand with it, and teach it's principles to our children.
As I have said countless times here, this is where we have failed. We let the people who teach our children get away with feeding them the Marxist-Socialist propaganda line for 3 plus decades. When we stopped teaching real history, civics, and stopped requiring our children to behave as citizens in school what the hell were we expecting would happen?
We are reaping what we have allowed to be sown.
This election will either mark a turn towards back towards freedom, and away from socialism, or it will return us to the path of mediocrity that socialism leads to. Instead of being the light that countries mired in socialist misery have turned to for help, which is what we were in the twentieth century, we will fall deeper into the pit with them.

Not to pick on this individual, but this is the result of 40 years of progressive/liberal/socialist indoctrination. I think he is a genuine true believer in the Marxist/Socilaist mantra. I don't what scares me more, the fact that he is, or the chance that he isn't and this is where we have arrived. Either way, it makes you think back to Nikita Khrushchev, doesn't it?
The answer aside, this is where we are today, and that really scares the hell out of me.

Even if Trump wins. It only stops the socialism spread for four more years. The Dems will get in power and it will be decades of dark times. I'm trying to think of a place to go hide out in retirement. It use to be Washington State on the Republican side of the mountains. But now, I can't think of a single place to hide from the socialists.

Yes we have. That is what I was saying, however poorly. 50 years ago it got going in public education. (I keep forgetting how old I am getting, LOL) We find out this month if 2016 was America saying no, or just the last gasp of freedom...for now.
If we fail as a free country, we have only ourselves to blame.

What amazes me is that either that The Public is so Self Centered busy in their lives to understand AND Accept what the Media has become and is doing to flat out lie and deceive on a never ending barrage of hurting Our Country OR they just do not care. I swear if anyone had a lick of Intelligence this Election would be Laughable!! Right up to the "BUG" this Country was hitting on all Cylinders and setting Records on a constant basis. The Media turned the Health Issue completly around and threw this at President Trump. The only worry I have is if the People give the Senate away and NOT regain the House. This would be such an incredible situation if President Trump had Both Working with him minus the rhinosmdim's and the Media. The amount of Rally's he has done in this past month speaks Volumes for his Love for this Country and Us.

I would like to disagree. If Trump is reelected, it signifies an ongoing shift back in the direction of freedom. 2016 signified the will of the country to do so. 2020, if all goes as most of us hope, will signify genuine momentum in that direction. It won't be fast and can take years or even decades to get there but it is up to us, the people, to keep that momentum moving forward.

I think @namba860 is in the boating industry like me?? Our industry is entirely dependant on people's expendable income, we rely on them to have extra money to spend and we are one of the first and hardest hit industries when times start to get tough because toys are the first thing cut out of peoples budgets when money starts to get tight.

Have no doubts that a Biden Whitehouse will cause an economic downturn. Not directly because of his policy, but because of the fear his name puts in people's sense of economic security. (rightfully so or not)

I know I'm not the only one here who started shifting my spending to credit in the last few months so as to keep my cash reserves up and preserve my credit lines just in case the worst should happen on Tuesday.

I dont know man. I was there some years back and the place looked like Hati when you're around town. No thanks!

Seems the only places interested in promoting freedom have homogenous cultures. Former Com block countries like Poland, Czech Rep and Hungry... Austria is awesome and allows firearms ownership. I'd probably go there if we lose the fight and I'm still alive to leave.

I agree. Pence would be the obvious choice but will need to start grooming himself to take over now. If he can find a way to be as energizing and positive as Trump for our economy and freedom, but can also find a way to create a message that is not quite as devisive as Trump, it would mean some amazing things for the future of our country!

To those if you talking or thinking about where to go to get away from the Marxists, I have a message for you...

America has become fat, dumb and happy because of the unselfish sacrifices of America’s greatest generation and millions before them made to make this country great. If our founders and millions since then looked for a place to go to we wouldn’t be here today.

It is OUR RESPONSIBILITY to give of ourselves - it is OUR DUTY to...

KEEP AMERICA FREE

See this is the ignorance of the masses who don't deal with this foolishness daily. You have no clue the burden of just foolish paperwork we are burdened with not to mention the taxes. Do you know that every year I need to answer forms advising a paperpusher in Sacramento what color I am, and what I am doing to hire those who are more suitable to work for me? Or how about you cant ask any questions about the legality of a worker to work in the US but your going to jail for hiring an illegal. Or one of my favorites, please send us your water engineers report in order to confirm that the rainwater leaving your driveway passes all water quality tests for drinking waterBTW corporate taxes are just the tip of the iceberg. Property Taxes UP, Sales Taxes UP, Fuel Taxes UP, Payroll Taxes UP, Electricity Taxes UP, Water Taxes UP, INCOME TAXES UP HealthCare Taxes UP...

Oh and FU I don't pay my fair share at over 50% and employing more that 50 people who all now have health care that I subsidize, their kids have a roof over their head, a 401k program. Those who havent owned their own business have no idea what goes through your mind as you take the call from the creditors, "How likely is Johhny to keep his job at XXXthousand/year?" in our minds this question is, hmmm I wonder what I am now on the hook for? a new car? a new home? a new engagement ring? Payroll takes on a new meaning when you realize its not just you, its those who count on you. If you have a weak quarter guess who doesnt get paid. Is it our responsibility, according to the left not really, but most of us on the right actually believe as long as the employee does his/her job they are part of our family/company and when they need help they come into your office and you probably help whether it be they cant afford this months rent, or their kid just turned 16 and can you help with the car they are trying to buy for the birthday present. FYI this is the same kid who you welcomed into the family 16 years ago so guess what, you help.

I know much easier to go to the Obama phone kiosk and have the govt pay for a handout, but thats just not the way to do it. /rant off

It all goes full circle. After the watergate mess the democrats won the presidency and both houses. After four years of ineffective leadership, a recession and allowing ourselves to be beat up by a piece of shit little third world theocracy, Ronald Reagan won in a landslide victory that put us back on a path to prosperity, strength and pride. No matter what happens it’ll all balance out eventually.

In 2016, no one (except RD) thought Trump had a chance to win. Trump got voted in by the silent majority then. Now? People aren't so silent and Trump has a shit ton of supporters and they are vocal. My personal opinion is this election is all about Trump vs the hate for Trump, this has nothing to do with Joe Biden. No honest Liberal will tell you that they are inspired by Joe Biden. I'm going against what the media is telling me and I think that Trump will get re-elected by a good margin, but the Democrats with contest the results and demand a recount, then it won't happen, then we will see them Riot like they always do. Oh, and Covid is gonna be gone soon...

I'm anxious as well but who ever wins, life will go on. One will make it more challenging than the other. What I'm anxious about is depending on who wins, determines if I'm going to be looking at boats next weekend or not.

I’m worried also. I had a long conversation with my closet friend. He owns a business who he employs over 50 people. He said that he’s worried if Biden gets in. With the Biden plans he will probably have to shut his doors. Covid really affected his business and just can’t take another hit. I’m worried about our freedom and our second amendment rights . The libs think that having a hundred rounds is too much. Illegals we’ll be coming in by the thousands for free health care. Biden will hire all his liberal cronies. Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and Cortez. Kamala Harris is the most liberal as we know. This is very dangerous for our freedom and our rights. I’m worried about the cheating with mall in voting. Hope Trump wins by a landslide and won’t have to worry about mail in votes . This is the most Important election ever.

I know we hear it every 4 years, but this is not a typical election...IMO.
Given the statements (and history) of the left over the past 4 years I find it difficult to imagine that it’ll just be a thorn in our side for 4 years if they steal the election.
I think the ramifications far exceed even 2016.
In 2016 the left was cruising.
Obama wrapping up 8 years of foreplay for socialism, Killary on deck to close it out as promised.
But a funny thing happened on the way to the WH.
The will of the people fucked up their plans.
They have not stopped fighting that since 2016.
They wiped their asses with the constitution, weaponized virtually every 3 letter agency to unseat the President, lied and conspired and even killed people to get rid of Trump and get the machine back up and running.
They have in the past 10 months brought this Nation from peak performance to complete destruction or as close to it as they could. They are promising a dark winter and full shut down if they win, and complete anarchy if they lose.
Id like to pretend that it’ll just be an inconvenient disappointment to see Trump lose, but the reality based on evidence suggests much worse consequences.
Don’t kid yourselves, the stakes have never been higher.
We think we’ll just keep chugging along regardless, for better or for worse.
“We are the US, no one fucks with us! Not foreign, not domestic!”
Wrong.
The events of the last couple weeks shows what the truth is. Our government stooges are and have been compromising everything about this Nation for cash and power. This isn’t 20th century warfare or coldwar.
Look around the globe and see that ALL nations change, war, fight, kill, redefine themselves constantly.
I believe we are at the fulcrum of historical events.
I don’t know what that looks like, but it feels different than business as usual right now.

It’s a character flaw if you let who is president affect your life that much. Just control what you can in your everyday life and keep moving forward

REALLY? REALLY?

Maybe a Quick check of our History Especially the jimmy carter Years. When thousands of Small Businesses went broke because of that POS and his incredible incompetence for anything let alone President Of The United States. 18% + Interest.🤬

RD was NOT the only one who thought Donald J.Trump had a chance to win the Presidency.
