I was looking for information about this boat. I really like this outboard version but was not sure if it was ever dialed in. I saw top speed was in the 90s but thought it should run in the 105-110 range. Who has some insight.

Thanks,Nicholas

Bad ass boat. If i remember it’s wrapped so it’s a blank canvas which is pretty cool. I’d agree that it’s not 100% dialed. That hull should run better with the power Pretty sure the Eliminator open bows are running faster with 300’s

I’ve been in that boat at Elsinore, we hit a 97 on the limiters with 4 guys onboard. The boat was still far from dialed at the time and I know it’s laid up a lot heavier than a typical RPM.

Make it get on plane faster was the original thinking I believe. Some manufacturers have done it with some success.

Thank you RD.
Do you know if the boat does actually plane faster without it?

They thought it would help run faster and help the bottom support the weight of the outboards hanging off the back.

I’ve been in both and driven both. It’s better with the notches in the bottom. That does not mean it’s bad with the notches filled in! I just preferred it with the notches.

White boat was built by Archer Marine and the ivory boat was built by Lavey Craft. White boat is a standard fiberglass boat, ivory boat is a full carbon/kevlar boat. White boat has 300xs’s and ivory boat had 400R’s. My point is they’re a pretty big difference in comparison.

Requested by Mercury Marine. Better in rough water. Same scenario as 30 Skater

Our buddy had a 30 Skater that he had Skater convert from twin big blocks to 400s a few years ago. Had them fill the notches @ same time. It made it better in rough water.
Sounds like “Prototype”

Yes it was.
These RPM 26' have amazing lines!!! Sadly I haven't had a chance to ride in one yet. I love the idea of a cabin you can actually use.
Good luck with the sale of this kickass setup
