To get it home we had to out six new tires on it..

So I guess our fixer up part starts there

Other than that it’s literally been sitting halfway in the street since then..

Today I put it in the driveway and started the project

Got ole Mow Mow over here to start scrubbing on the wheels.. the aluminum was pretty oxidized and needs a lot of love. Nothing manual labor can’t take care of.

Now Mow is used to the washing / detail world.. he thought polishing these rims was gonna be a snap. I told him it’s gonna be two hours a wheel MINIMUM to get them where I think it oughta be.. maybe an hour if we could take them off but we can’t so 2.. lol

After four or five hours with a Brillo pad WD40 and steel wool he’s got them all pretty uniform flat..

“Polishing” starts tomorrow.

So I decided to start cleaning the electrical cabinet and see what works and what doesn’t.. I had assumed everything works

Before

After with a new interstate battery courtesy of Wired 4 Sound

Replaced some fuses and cleaned some stuff

And we got Lights!!

We got sound!

Granted the sound was probably good enough for what they were doing with this before.. but Wired for Sound will be making it so we can be a little more.... “rdp”.

Started opening cabinets and found these microphones so I guess it has some sort of PA system?

Opened the stock room and found out it’s got MACS tie downs on the roof and ceiling.. one of the overhead lights needs attention

That’s going to look like a true RDP EVENT once you get it dialed in!

RGB lights and some tunes and a couple Safeglow whips maybe even a boat whip....

Is this like a restaurant new menu new prices.....

I guess this mean the hat & shirt prices is going up ?

Don't know what you are planning for a generator but there is a onan 4k in fb market place right now. Asking $1200.

here in Havasu? I think a permanent install would be rad, but I’m gonna need a fuel tank and a fuel pump to run the Onan?

After removing all the bullshit off the shelf I was kinda thinking this predator 3500 would fit on their nicely (rubber mounts of course) and then when I wasn’t using it I’d just throw it in the offroad trailer for that duty.

Or a pair of Honda 2,000’s Connected would fit albeit expensive AF.. solves all problems though with an 8 hour run time and 4K watts?

I used to run the Honda 2000 pairs. Recently switched over to the Honda 3000 and loving it. Heavier than shit but it's quiet (quieter than the 2000 IMO) and had a pretty decent fuel capacity (3.5gal if I remember correctly.)

Trailer is looking good! Wheels are coming along too- not sure if you have ever heard of this stuff but it works really well too...

I might give that a try! It’s coming out pretty good with mother’s and just a lot of elbow grease and a high speed drill.

It’s kind of the lazy mans polish, works well - I would say better than Mothers without a ton of elbow grease. I know it’s common with a truckers, you might be able to pick some up at Flying J’s or Loves if you don’t want to wait for the Amazon delivery.

A few years ago I polished the Yukon rims after getting new tires... took at least 4 hours per rim, Flitz? metal polish. Elbow grease and Scraps of towels and t-shirts.

If you took those wheels to the polishers at the truck stops they’d be mirrors in less than a day.

labor is cheap in Havasu..

I once thought I had a leak in my irrigation in the backyard.. I posted pics of a kid digging up the entire backyard checking all the pipes putting all the dirt back and making the rocks look nice..

Some said I was an idiot because I could get a leak detection company out here to check it for 3-400.00.

I was all in for 250 and basically got my rocks all relandscaped and looking nice..

kid was stoked for the money, and the backyard still looks good. :D.

Besides ole Mow Mow lost his job and can use the money. I will be into polishing all these wheels about 30.00 a wheel. That’s over paying Mow Mow to help him out.

on that note he should be done in about two and a half hours

Got ole Mow Mow washing and polishing on it..

Gotta watch Mow Mow with a polished.. he already burned through a small section on the door, so now we are having explicit instructions and a finer polishing pad and compound

lots of potential... kewl project.

I can see full wrap, paid for by your advertisers, Kicker sound by Wired4Sound, lighting from Rigid Industries and your bro at safeglow. Powered by a generator that doesn't make too much noise or vibrate your feet when standing in trailer. :)

Ask and you shall receive my friend!

Here is their actual website. They have a LP/Natural Gas conversion kit for the predator as well....

not to be neg., just input here... nas car guys are going to solar,... and i don't see a reason to have to run a gen????? I would be more for having an awning with a bunch of solar than a pop up sign.. you could all the led lights you want all night off bartterys,... with a 120v plug in charge the batterys at home when there's not enough Sun if needed....I run my cargo trailer with just one 300w solar panel, ...you have room for 10..... throw in a couple 200ah battery's and your golden...I seem to remember you pusher having solar??? but,... you could plug into the rv when the gen is on also....solar is the only way to go....

Air conditioning for the stock room would be what the generator is for.

Wrap isn’t done.. but AC in the stock room and we are starting to load for the events!

This god damn thing holds more than we have ever taken to a show.. still trying to figure out the “flow” from the stock room to out front but the boat show is a good test.

Small detail but the RDP sticker on the back should have been on the other side so when the door is open when you’re parked at a show it will still be visible.
