Would be great if you documented this build on the facebook Eliminator Boat Owners Group, I am the admin and there are roughly 7000 members who would love to see what you are doing with this classic.

I don’t have Facebook but if you want to contact me I’ll give you my number and we can talk and maybe you could do some documenting

Thats my old boat. Bought new in 1988 from Shawano factory with 2 evinrude 300 hp. V8 we called refrigerators. Repowered with triple 2.5 Efi mercury racing engines. In 1993. Hence the name Triple Play. Then got sick of grenadine those and in 2004 put on 2 300x mercury’s. In 2011 i Sold boat to h2o motor sports in water down ontario and he sold engines to buffalo ny. And boat went to Niagara Falls I think. I bought a 28 eliminator speedster with 525 efi from Bob in the new. Factory in 2010. Bob came to the Toronto boat show that year Deal went well and i got the boat may 1 2010. Turns out he was already in chapter 11. I got lucky. Still have speedster. Love it. i am in toronto and boat on lake Simcoe.

This Is a screen that I had customized instead of going with a typical set up of toggle switches and a typical divorcee mile an hour gauge I had somebody customize a full screen for me that is touchscreen 3-D and has the image of my boat in it when I get the screen back I will post more pictures of how it works the screen will operate my bilge pump‘s navigation lights my interior lights And my hatches and whatever accessories I have inside

Got some seadeck on the floor and all my side panels cut out. I need to send out the side panels for Fibreglass saying and they are going to get wrapped in black Alcântara with Carben Fibre panels i’m thinking of changing the two front seats in the bunker to ice chest cooler holders One cooler will be a wet cooler the other cooler will be a dryd cooler

Can you share a little more about the side panels? What are they currently made of and what is the process to add fiberglass and a final covering?

I currently got them cut with wood on a cnc machine as a dry fit and to make sure all the measurements work. I went this way because all of the older 90's generation boats always use a straight panel and I'm not a fan of it. Knowing that this works now with all the measurements, I will make sure the panel holes and cuts are exactly where I want them and then i will get a mold off of the panels. Fiber glassing over them and popping a mold making a plug out of it, then in lay the plug with carbon fiber and popping a carbon fiber mold out of it. It's alot of work but it will go a long way in making the boat look more modern and new. I was trying to go for a retro mod look, older boat newer style. This is almost how the newer boats look inside with the side panels.

Hey brother thanks for the compliment I’m putting twin 300xs on it . The 400s at the moment are pretty pricey maybe in the future right now access with tune exhaust and flash Ecu . Still a lot of work need to be done
