Does the 6.2 go into 4 cylinder mode on the freeway like the 5.3?
Yes, but it actually works well with the displacement. 5.3 is a great motor. The 6.2 is just better all around.

Just bought a yukon with 6.2 and 10speed. Drives awesome. Tons of power.

Kinda making me want to sell my diesel and buy your truck!

I follow and try to figure out Chevy classic truck trends. I personally think this body style will be the new "67-72 C10" popular truck, 30 years from now. I think the squared off indent above the wheel wells sets this truck off perfect. Maybe it will be the new "squarebody." Anyway, I ordered a 2014 2WD 1500 with 6.2 in Red with fold down front seat. I loved that truck. Speed in the 1500 with the 6.2 is insane and to get the great MPG to go with it is an added bonus.

Good luck with the sale, this truck is clean. My 2014 in red is on my list to acquire back and hold onto, at some point.......

My wife said something similar the other day about it having a following in the future. The motor is my biggest vacillating point of not wanting to sell. Like you said great power and mileage. Drove it this am. Lifetime average shows 17.3.

I'm assuming this is a shortbed? I think so from the pictures. This is an awfully nice truck, but I really want a longbed.

Cool thanks for the info.

Unfortunately I'm still making payments on a 2016 Yukon XL Denali. If I wasn't, I'd be seriously considering your ride, as I prefer trucks but I keep inheriting Yukons from the family. I was thinking of buying a new 2022 truck but the prices, yikes. Yours has almost everything I'd get except the short bed.

What color is the 16 Yukon? Possible trade?

If its 5k under book, ever thought of Carmax? They usually give around trade in value or sometimes a little higher. That might be were you need to be if its 5k below KBB.

Just an idea. GLWTS. Nice truck.

Summit White, dark brown interior. Ordered with almost everything but the sunroof. 120K miles though, so unfortunately not low miles like yours. But in good shape though.

Right on. Looks in good shape. Would be after lower mileage on something newer.

What’s the tow rating with the 6.2?

Dam that’s nearing the holly grail F150 territory!
Hahaha almost!

We used to pull our 335 Hallett to and from the ramp with the same truck but 5.3. Stopped it just fine as well. That truck was rated to 10,700 if I remember right. Ditched the factory P rated tires and just 5100's.

As LOF always states the new half tons are more capable than the 3/4 tons of years past. Our old 1995 Suburban with a 454 was a turd up the same hills only pulling a 27ft Hallett.

Bump.

Have had a ton of interest. Not one person to come out and see it.
