Anyone remember the old Skool koozies that were made of like a rubber shinny finish before the thick foam ones came out? Probably 80’s early 90’s. I saw someone was reproducing them but can’t find them. I’m trying to have some made.

what in gods name for.. they were terrible. You would have to pull and pry them off the beer can etc..

I know guys that make them if you want them, but I can’t imagine wanting them anymore lol.. I had some old river ones from the late 70’s early 80’s I jist got rid of awhile back.

Coors Light cans are skinnier, no problem getting them out....... I remember having the river rat ones, will have to stop by River Island Market and pick up a few for old times sake!

Brad at SoCaljetboats sells them- he does a run of them usually at the beginning of each river season. They go pretty quick tho, Could probably message him through his site and see who he has them made by. I have like 2 dozen of them lol

I never really understood koozies, unless you plan on nursing that beer all day long. Might as well add one of these to your beer while your at it...

We usually do not drink beer while out on our boat. If I do, I will pour the beer into my hydroflask. I also cooled the inside of it with ice prior to adding the beer. Stays really cold.

I'm a koozie whore, I have hundreds of them in a couple drawers in the kitchen and the toy hauler. I probably use a random one a few times a year, mid summer.

Same here. Got a stash of them in a cooler at the house in various types/sizes and seem to keep adding more to the pile each year.

A well used authentic classic with the required inner sleeve for the smaller OD CLs. View attachment 978454
My buddies shop (Gab-Fab) is literally on the same street as the ranch, the speed limit on that street is 69 MPH. Several years ago one of the patrons took out approx 70 feet of chain-link fence out in front of his business, apparently the Viagra was still in full effect...

Koozies are actually best used in the winter time to keep your hand from freezing off, especially out off-roading in the desert etc.

This. When it is 110, your hand is actually keeping the beer cooler than nothing at all :)
