Serious? New Elevators/Escalators!! They have been putting Band-Aid's on thes Old Ones for years.
Yes! They are doing all the elevators, except the north tower bank with the glass elevator for some reason. There is another crew there working on the escalators as well.

Hanging out at Riley1’s job site this week. Watching all the new elevator parts get craned onto the roof.

With them having a jib on it they're definitely not picking a lot of weight, but they need some reach.

They didn’t empty the casino, just put up a barricade on the ground. My hubby’s an elevator guy so not sure about lift plans. Old Don is still running around in a scooter lol

I'm sure some have gathered that our life always seems like a honeymoon and we are so blessed to live like we do; but we really do love life and enjoy every day. Every day I just have to pinch myself we live in such a great area.

Rode bikes tonight to happy hour on the lake to a restaurant we like.

Yep. they just cut in a bunch of new technical trails. some are just cut and unmarked but you can ride them or in my case ride - walk them.

Been riding there for 20 years. We had names for them all, Drop off trail, Boys route, Girls route, hidden trail, Ridge trail, the luge. City of Scottsdale in all their infinite wisdom dumbed them down, took out many good obstacles. Ever ride BCT?

Yeah we’ve been up here 26 years ridding it both on dirt bikes and MTB. We were sadden to see it become a REI paranoia, shade-hat park, but better than another Tatum Ranch I suppose. My son has done BCT over night. He did it the one weekend a couple years ago when it rained then dropped into the 20’s. Easier to do when you are in 12th grade with your buddies LOL.

A fun ride is to leave carefree, cut in at legends trail and end up at the entrance of mcdowell park. C4 is also a nice ride I’m sure you’ve done.

They've renamed all that stuff. We had a few real run-ins with "Karla" the big fat dyke pig that tried to close it to everyone but REI homo's. 😂

She would be standing in the trail blowing whistles as we rode around her.

My business partner is one of the originals dirt bike guys out there. Still rides 2-3 days a week out there. I'll bet you've met him. Guys like Dave Dugan, Matt Berault, Paul Broaderip , Michael Shumacher are all guys in his circle. I bought two jet skis from Dugan two days before he died.

BCT is legit. 62 miles of well built, professional single-track. Favorite trail.

Awesome -- When conducting your property search, how much consideration are you giving the prevailing winds ? As an example, our Havasu place is situated so our deck and outdoor entertainment area is facing South. We get welcome breezes in the summer yet are blocked from the bone chilling winter north winds.
I noticed when viewing many properties in Boulder, to take advantage of the views you needed a north facing exposure, but it seemed that would render any deck areas vulnerable in the winter.

We want our backyard facing mostly south west so we get the most sun; that is literally the main consideration for us. Its Nevada so its windy no matter where you put the house. Haha

At Havasu we prefer the more SE or S winds ( Well except the SE monsoon winds that take your roof off  ) to the bone chilling north winds -- so yes, that SE direction is favored.
Due to the location of Boulder relative to Lake Mead, if you want lake views, seems you're going to be facing pretty much north.

This is Lake Las Vegas. We are still consodering building a custom in Boulder City but just dont know if we can do it in our budget. We like modern with lots of glass and it is just so expensive to build a home worh lots of light.
