For the most part the bottom of the lake is pretty much a desert. There is a lot of nothing in most places. Again if anyone wants to join that would be ideal. I’ve dove alone in Powell recovering stuff in 40 feet. Found what I was looking for in 30 seconds. Like I said. It’s a desert down there. Lots of nothing.
Yes I have all certs except for dive master. Counting kicks, using a compass and grid pattern is the best. I also have two lights, one is an HID specific dive light and another is a smaller spot light, all gear is halcyon for those that understand. Basically DIR setup, gear designed around tech dives. Probably around 400 dives under my belt. I used to help my instructor teach classes in La Jolla cove for years. I’m actual more comfortable diving at night, because there is more to see. Day dives in the ocean are pretty boring most of the time.
