I mapped it out last year.... 20 miles from Parker dam to channel. 20 miles from channel to Topock.... takes about 1 hour in the 20’ Stoker at 9am on a Saturday ;P

Don’t know exactly, but 17 does sound about right.
I can tell you however that it is exactly 127 miles from the buoy line at Katherine’s, to Hoover dam, and back to Katherine’s.
