I just sold a jet ski and a few other vehicles recently. By far, the most action was on facebook marketplace. It was a 10-1 response compared to anything else. Including craigslist and any other site.

The problem is that means I need a facebook account.........

I have been thinking of this just to gain access to marketplace. I have been trying to tell my self its worth it for a year or better now.

Yea. I had to list it under my wife’s account. A bit of a hassle, but the response was incredible.

We tried facebook market place when we were trying to relet our kids ASU apt since he was home due to covid.

I couldn’t take it after a month, it simply rained torrents of ass clowns. I won’t go into detail but, I took it down and decided to just pay $1,000 a month for an empty apt this semester.

You can't use facebook marketplace unless you have a well established facebook account... 🤣🤣

I ditched facebook about 5 years ago, and was looking for forklifts last year and tried to sign up for a new account just to browse, it wouldn't let me. 🤡🤡

Fock. that.

Facebook is a joke... the ass clowns there think they know everything and are a bunch of keyboard warriors.... don't waste your time on FB if you have something nice... If you got a POS go list it as those losers may buy it...

I’ve had more luck selling on Facebook Marketplace, but better luck buying from Craigslist...you will have to put up with more bs offers on FB though

Well, the boat went down the road this weekend.
Started advertising it late Wednesday night and a deal was cut Saturday for just under asking. I was not really looking to sell but I made very good money on it. In a year or two I will step back into the market. Hoping a little sanity returns by then.

I’ve been selling a lot of my toys ... I’ve done RDP listings, Craigslist in several areas ... BUT ... my wife put my stuff on Facebook ... that’s where all my buyers came from. There’s something about Facebook buyers ... they seem more put together and more serious about buying. Good luck.
