Does anyone know where I can purchase dual trim switches for offshore style throttles. I checked Rexmarin’s site. And they do not show them. below is an old pic of their sire of what I’m looking for.

There is or was a guy on Facebook in "The Original Powerboat Swap Shop" named Jay Annicharico that builds and sells them. I have only seen singles, but he probably can/does make double button also. Looks like he makes a lot of small but cool billet parts. I don't know anything about him other than what I have seen via his posts there.

Possibly the wrong side I assume, been hanging in my garage since rex closed them out, they were so cheap I bought a few.

If it works, PM me your address and its yours free, but if it is not the right one I will hold onto it.

Have you thought about just updating the whole unit?

Since I’ve got twins. I’d be looking at about $1500 bucks. Hoping to keep the cost down a bit. $1500 would go a long ways to a set of hydraulic jack plates 😂

You’re right. It’s on the wrong side. But thank you for the offer. That’s exactly what I’ll looking for.

lol. I like the plan ! I really do appreciate it. These things are as rare as hens tent!
If you find you can't flip it--don't toss it I will put it in my "hardware I have to have but don't need" section!!

Good luck I hope it works, its been hanging in my garage for several years!

Absolutely. If it can’t be flipped. It will be sent back. But never estimate what can be done with a drill press, Dremel and a hand file ! 😁

You can trim with your fingers instead of thumb may work.

That's what i think will end up working, but never doubt a man on a mission!

I have the same one I would give away also. He beat me to it.

I’d love to take a crack at it. This would be a fun project for my new-to-me Shapeoko!

I’m not a big fan of my steering column trim lever. With one hand on the throttle and the other on the wheel, I have to loosen my grip to adjust trim.

@mjc i messaged you.

If you mean a PM I didn't get it.

There is a real shortage of shops that will do one off machining stuff around the bay area, they just want to do production.
I used to have an older retired machinist who just wanted to turn knobs and make chips to stay busy and make some beer money.
He passed a few years back and You live to far away damn it!!

@v6toy4x we don’t turn knobs anymore as the desktop stuff has really changed how small batch/prototyping is done. We can go from cardboard cut out to plastic 3D print to machined product in a day.

Haven’t been behind a three axis since 2010. Used to machine the four-bolt flanges off t3 and t4 turbine housings so I could weld on a conical defusers to a 5” v-bands. Def don’t miss the pre-heat process prior to tig welding it all together. Especially shitty during monsoon season when the swamp coolers were obsolete.

3D printing, I wish I had the patients to learn a new trick, that looks very fun and beneficial. Plus a nice piece of garage art!!

@v6toy4x tell me about it! I started with the basics when I opened up the shop. I’m still hand drafting projects on iso paper but the last job I did paid enough to build a desktop PC.

I can’t wait to get back into CAD/CAM software like Solidworks. This throttle/trim project will be a great exercise to start with! @MK1MOD0 if I can help in any way lemme know!

I appreciate the offer. I’m hoping it won’t be too complicated. But hell. I’m always up far a challenge. I can only dream of having a 3D printer. Completely bad ass machine!

I ended up flitting the switches around, cutting new slots for rocker switches. Then just put a cover plate on the backside.
