Kind of boils down to the product being installed then who installs it. I’d stick with 3m or Llumar then find an installer.

The dealer in Havasu forgot to tint my truck, lol but didn’t forget to charge me $500. Turned out for the good as I would have probably had Chinese dyed plastic.

Is it just me or does NO tint guy have any ability to guide you through the tint selection process?

You carefully try to guess based on the sample board along the wall. 50% looks good then the guy tells you 50% is good as no tint at all. So you try to go dark enough to make it worthwhile and leave not knowing if you will be back as quick as you pulled out of the parking lot and got a tint ticket.

I understand liability but damn, at least try to show me what I am going to get.

I walked in and said I wanted it to match the back which was factory 18%. He immediately said that would be illegal and showed me the difference on the wall.
