Hey Guys!

What do you use to get in the open bow on tall boats? With the 240, its just high enough that I know I am going to bust my ass getting in from the bow one time soon! I can do it but it aint fun!

I like to push off beaches but maybe that isnt an option anymore? I know someone else has this same problem! LOL

Maybe a folding Stool with a line attached to it to drag up when leaving?

Whos got the secret sauce on this?!

Just get it loose, and climb in. Rinse your feet at the same time. I could jump in the open bow of a 335 doing this. 210's, 24's and 27's are cake.

I push off and spin the boat by hand being waste deep. Climb up the back, push off and start the engines, drop the drives and go.

That's how I do it when I have an anchor out.

this is what we do as well. But we generally have the boat started already.

You’ll need a 2 step stool Chris.

If you are short on storage space or need it to be a couple inches thick, get this one. This is the one I use you might be able to find it cheaper from another brand, they are all the same from China.

If you have more room to store it, this one is better

Also go to Harbor Freight and get a few of their black nylon spring clamps. Clamp a towel to the rail on the entry side where you put the stool. It is the 1 3/4 inch clamps that fits biminis and rails perfectly. They are like $1.50 each. They work great clamping a towel to the bimini for extra shade too.

Facing away from the boat, grab the rail behind your back and boost yourself up so you’re sitting on the top. Be sure to rinse your feet on the way up.

the swimstep.

🤣

seriously though, getting in on the front is just asking to bring sand into the boat.

Do this for pushing off.. or get it barely on shore, get in the boat and use an oar to push off :)

I want to say is it one of the medium sizes that fits biminis and rails perfectly. They are like $1.50 each or something. They work great clamping a towel to the bimini for extra shade too.

Yea I have just been climbing up the back ladder and swimstep. I think I need to get used to having a bigger boat that I dont need to shove off all the time also!

no advice on the boarding (I have a bow ladder...), but damn those clamps are priceless!!! I have about 20 all over my boat, they work for everything from securing hats and towels and trash bags to clipping your ski flag to the bimini... The 1-3/4 inch ones fit rails and biminis perfectly.

I do this as well, otherwise I feel like a sea lion flopping my fat tummy onto the bow.

Bow out and stern line makes my stance clear to passengers lol
