What i took from the tour is, it’s absolutely amazing to me the amount of part numbers they have, and the volume of parts that come out of this facility. It is incredible to watch and it runs like a Swiss watch. Bob is humble and would make jokes that it isn’t all unicorns and rainbows..

The sheer organization of parts, hardware, part numbers.. The assembly bench that is setup and watching the guy go from making this widget and seamlessly into the next. Honestly it’s pretty awe inspiring when you take a step Back and think about how much time must have gone into getting all of this setup and how it all evolved to become what it is today.

If you aren’t into manufacturing you won’t get it.. but I’m telling ya I am extremely impressed by the lack of “pork” in the operation. It’s streamlined and efficient. Great place with great people!

They are a tiny little band but play like a full orchestra. And Bob somehow always has time to stop and deal with stupid questions, i know cause i ask him a lot of them. But a day or two later i have the answer show up in the mailbox. He’s not afraid to jig some stuff up to make one off parts either, such as my last boat, JL Audio remote cup, ignition bezel, Rigid Industries courtesy light bezels, all where one off and perfect just with me sending him dimensions.

@Marine Industries West is a bad ass plain and simple.

Never had good luck getting my order completed with them. Paid for it all up front. Bob would would miss promised delivery dates time and time again on trim tab indicators parts. Moved on. That was a few boats ago. If they have it in stock I’m sure no problem. Hydraulic hatch rams were perfect however and a very nice piece.

They had some growing pains when Bob took over Dana, and had some supply problems.. That has been resolved

Bob helped me out in a pinch this summer at the beginning of the season. He made it happen in time for my trip, and it wasn't easy. Finding parts was difficult and then the part that came was cracked. Bob went out of his way to get another one in time and have it done.

Always have done me right, I walked in with my diverter pump expecting to drop it off, Gary took it apart and put on new tank while I waited

@RiverDave where are all the CNC machines? I assume all those billet parts are CNC, so they farm that out to someone else or do they make it in house?

All CNC work is done offsight. However we are in the process of bringing two machines in house now. Should be up and running within 30 days.

Hey Bob, I want to say you did a side mount billet shifter group buy awhile back? Would you be interested in doing another if someone organized it for you? If so how many would you need?

Thanks Bob, I will take the lead.. Count me in for 1.

These can be used with our stock cables, correct? I know with the Hardin unit we have to swap the cable.

Do you want the folks to order on the site? Or I can just collect the funds and bring you cash?

Our controls will work with 33C or Merc Gen 2 cables. But will not work with the earlier Merc KM type cable. If you have the early KM cables, they would need to be upgraded. By the time you get the (2) cables and the engine side connection kit, it will add about $140.00 to your project.

Anyone interested can email or call, [email protected] - 714-630-3905 and ill compile a list. Thanks
