We went to Mittry Lake (Colorado River south) - beautiful place with water and lots of offroading - it's the bottom of the Arizona Peace Trail and best of all (1) it wasn't crowded at all and (2) no traffic coming home as we could avoid the 10E going into Phoenix which was jammed.

Drove down to Algodones from Parker, wind was 50mph plus there. Got our covid in case meds, then met up with our Parkerbilly friends off of Shea rd. Ended up at " The Bar" on Riverside dr just down the street from our Palace.

Tucson, Lake Pleasant, and Prescott. Great week for sure, the Pima air and space museum was pretty cool and the Titan missile silo was crazy!

Ocotillo Wells. Camped over by the 4x4 proving grounds but Jeeped all over the place. Put about 100 dirt miles on over the course of 4 days.

Was supposed to go to Lunatic Fringes house but ended up at home eating chicken fucking soup. Not feeling well and in todays world if you are feeling sick you don't expose others. It only lasted a couple of days but ruined my dinner for TG. LF and wife put out great spreads and it is always delicious food and good company.

Alabama by motorhome, still here, leaving in the morning. Bird with parents of sons GF, Iron bowl (Bama and Auburn), amazing game, 4 overtimes, and house shopping on Smith Lake.

Trona. That was our base camp anyway.

Spent one of days exploring Death Valley. Manson's Hide out, Stella's Cabin and the Geologist Cabin. I was told we did roughly seventy miles that day.

Had an awesome Thanksgiving, camping with family and friends!

Borrego Springs.
Told my co-workers, I am taking 12/3 off, I need a vacation from my Holiday.
We averaged 6 miles hiking Thursday through Saturday with 25mIles in dirt with the Jeep each day.

Came out to Havasu, wife/kids flew out for a few days. BIL his SO and their new baby came down from Vegas. Had some havasu friends over at the house. Prime Rib/Turkey spread was epic. Heated the pool for nothing, not even my fat ass was getting in it with the wind. Went to Oatman...what a shit show that was. Doing all my year end stuff here so I can go home.

Not to hijack the thread but do tell about Smith Lake...we are always looking to learn about new areas and I didn't get to spend as much time in Alabama as I would have liked this past Summer. Thanks in advance!

Beautiful lake, very deep and very clean, 400 feet in spots. Lots of homes, bars and restaurants on the lake, similar to LOTO. Nice homes on the lake with a dock start around $800k. Lake is roughly twice the size of havasu. We looked at houses for two days but couldn’t find the perfect one but we do know we want to move here or to old hickory lake outside of Nashville. Stacy is going to get our house listed and we will see how it plays out.

Property tax is very low, a few homes we looked at were 1.3 million or so and the annual taxes were $2000. Also property taxes stop at age 65.

Thank you....didn't realize that about the property taxes ending at 65. I am knee deep looking at places that make sense retirement-wise. Wife really likes North Carolina (I do as well) but I am leaning Tennessee. There are so many great places in the south...I really dig it down there.

Why does the Suzuki quad have paddles?

I carry paddles and trail tires for both quads in the trailer. But as we both know, swapping tires is a big pain in the ass!

I go back and forth between Glamis and hardpack on a regular basis. This way I have one quad ready to roll, regulardless of where I am riding.

I should probably put the trail tires on the EFI bike, but I just haven't got around to it yet. It's on my to-do list. 😝

Let's see.....

The Friday before, my brother and I ran to Henderson and picked up a new to us pontoon boat.

Then ran out to the SDBA Finals at Wildhorse Pass In Chandler, AZ.

Worked on my river garage and other projects Mon-Wed.

Went and shot guns with family and friends T-day. Then had a killer T-Day Dinner with 30 family and friends

Had a Chili Cook Off Friday night.

Raced Friday & Saturday. Won the weekend & won the 2021 Crackerbox Championship.

Went Offroading for a bit on Sunday.

All in all, another bitchen time at the river!

My Friend Karly had her 1st win in the SE55 boat on Saturday. I got dragged in when we went to throw her in for her 1st win!
