I’m in for the 2/12 delivery if anyone from So Cal wants to coordinate. Will be traveling from Lakewood/Long Beach up the 605/210 and back the same route. Could also go the 91/15. Shoot me a PM if interested.

What temp are you running?

How long can you keep the meat frozen?

Will vacuum packing it make a difference?

Thanks. 👍🏼
I am sure you could vacuum pack it and it would help but we have never had an issue. We usually get around 60 pounds of ground and it lasts over a year. Never had an issue with freezer burn on ground beef or 1/4’s.

This beef is phenomenal, i got an order last February and it's still good in my deep freeze. The fat straps on Joel and Amy's steaks are like candy when seared over the coals. Literally sweet melt in your mouth decadence.

The ground beef makes some of the best burgers or tacos you're ever gonna have.

You won't regret your order and you will become a repeat customer. 👍

Will you be doing pork again in the future?
At some point, yes. The price of good piglets and the high cost of quality pig feed will have us skip a season. We will still do 4 just for breakfast and Italian sausage (we grind the entire piggy and make the best sausage ever) that we reserve for our bulk beef buyers but won't be doing large batches of 21 again until pricing comes down from the stratosphere.

I heard that if you buy a quarter they throw in a whole chicken for free. 😃

I have two 1/4's available for delivery to Havasu Desert Storm weekend, Saturday April 23rd. After that I have spots open for May 14th and May 21st.

The Phoenix delivery was great. Lots of extra driving compared to Havasu but we really liked it and will plan another as soon as we have three steers sold in the valley area.

Call or text anytime 928-486-4043 Joel

I used mustard to hold the rub (NO taste) and Recteq rub. But any Brisket rub you like will do! It takes a few hours @ 225! :)

I have a couple of spots available for the April 9th delivery and the 23rd (Desert Storm weekend). We had been about 3 months out but with securing extra butcher dates, we've been able to get caught up enough that wait times are minimal. Call or text anytime 928-486-4043 Joel

Split a whole with my son and this is the first time trying Joel and Amy's product. Amazing quality from a down to earth family. My other 2 sons have a whole on order for the next delivery to Phoenix. You've got a customer for life out of our family!!!

@wash11 We are finally getting into cooking with some of the Ground Beef we got with our 1/4. Same recipes we have been using for years, only difference is this ground beef vs standard store bought.

HolY CRAP you can taste the difference right away. So much better over all, and I noticed it seems to be very lean compared to what we normally buy so you end up with more beef, less grease.

Can't wait to get into the other different cuts. Next year may be a 1/2 instead of a quarter.

Currently taking orders 1/4's for June 11th and June 25th, followed by July. My phone has been extra buzzy since Friday when the market tanked, almost exactly like it did March 2020. To give an idea how goofy it is, I've sold 7 quarters since 6:30am today. I'm doing my schedule through December so even if you're not ready now, pick a month to get your spot reserved so we can cover you. Call or text anytime 928-486-4043 Joel

I just reached out to Joel for the May 21 pick up. If anybody else needs a quarter brought to SoCal, I’ll be bringing it back to La Verne.

It's funny because my first purchase, I thought it was too much ground beef... first thing we went through. First time buying the leanest GB at a store after running out and the wife was like "This sucks, when do we get more of that meat?" lol that was the green light to order a whole and picking up this Saturday.

Had to buy a couple 165 Quart ice chest from Costco to make sure I have enough to bring it all back. $100/EA which seemed like a good price if anyone is looking. Even have some removable dividers. Yeah I’m easily amused 😆

Good seeing you Saturday and thanks again @wash11 for the 🥩

First thing the wife wanted was spaghetti 🍝 and no complaints from me since there is no oil straining to be done with this ground beef!

I make it with a slight twist, cook the meat, add the spaghetti sauce and some pepper flakes, then add in the Penne pasta and let it sit for a few minutes so it soaks it all in.

Time to enjoy!
