Eh. Tested, turn-key, warrantied, low operating costs, easy to trailer/store.

I assume the sensation of speed is greater with a PWC than most boats, but not most of the boats in this thread?

No doubt it's a fun toy, but 30K for a jet ski sounds crazy to me. jmo which isn't worth much.... Thanks for posting! 👍

Who remembers that little, tiny outboard hydro that ran 140 plus in the kilos late 1990's at La Paz?

Not my pics.

I remember either Ray Wheeler or My Dad having to face the nice gentleman from the coast guard after the wild man driving(flying) that sheet and a half of 1/4" plywood had trouble getting it to settle down at the end of one down river kilo pass. It would get squirrely and he would get back on the throttle and try it again. About the 3rd or 4th try, he blew past the end of course bouys, the river closure boats, darted through the spectator fleet and buzzed the aforementioned representative of the US govt. still doing at least a buck. It took a little convincing that that was a one off and SCSC would not allow that to happen again before we were allowed to continue the speed trials. :)

helmets and condoms man... some things they just dont feel right. (i know, i know)

hahah that's a good one...I understand why some don't and to be honest took me awhile to feel good about putting one on. Proper neck restraint helps with the feeling good part.

Been following this thread from the beginning. There are a lot of incredible boats that I have been drooling over since February. Hoping to some day I might be able to be in the club. I knew that it would be at the lower end but at least make the list. We bought our first boat ever about 6 weeks ago now. The wife has been amazing as we to launch and retrieve. Each time when the conditions were right I have been giving it a little more throttle. I had been cruising comfortably around 40-50mph. Well, yesterday afternoon was out with a friend and the water was the nicest yet. I decided to give a bit more until I made it over 70 mph. It is surprising how fast it climbs from 50 to 60 and then again to 70. Anyway enough of my long winded babbling….

Lots of nice floats!

I tend to march to the beat of my own drum, I enjoy performance, fishing and taking my son out. Added this to the collection last year, 22ft triton, 250 pro xs with a 24p tempst puts it right at 73 on GPS.

Is that John West's old Ultra?
I don't think so. It looks almost identical i think because i get that a lot. I think John's boat did not have bow rails and few other differences. I bought it from the second owner years back and he told me the original owner liked John's boat and wanted one just like it. I've changed a few things since then.
