For those of you that do the river/lake in the summer and the desert/dunes in the winter...which one do you like better? If you had to give one up, which would it be?

I have more fun in my teryx then anything I have ever owned.. That being said if I had to choose that thing and the dirt program would go down the road in 2 seconds flat.. Lol.

I like both, I'd choose the boat if I had to have just one.

I like both the same, and the best part is that they are in the same place.

River and where is the RD SUX option? :D

I sold my YFZ450 a few years back which was an easy decision. It would be tough to sell the boat.

Definity the water, riding is awsome but after mutiple injuries and the wife tired of all the hospital runs, the water won! The wife actually gave me the ultimadum when the boy was born, Boat or Bike! :drillsergeant:

Boat won! (She new it would) But compromised, once the boy is 3 desert bound WE BOTH ARE!! 1 more year!

I equally love both seasons.... Pretty much what I live for. In the winter time while riding I look forward to boating. In the summer time while boating I look forward to desert / dune riding.

I deffinatley like water better than dirt...

With that said I like the idea of getting away and sitting by the campfire with some beers in the middle of nowhere while camping.

The river dosent seem like a get away and can be hectic like everyday life.

I also like the fact that there is less police activity out in the middle of nowhere;)

With the exception of boats (maybe not as I have seen boat rails) the same stuff happens at Glamis. I added another B word. Booty! :D

I like the boat better and my wife likes the Rhino better. Go figure. Although she is a princess and doesn't like sleeping in the dirt so luckily we get to enjoy both at the river. :D

I'm not union or a realator....;)

I work M-F

I did have a great time out there when I stayed for a week in august.

This only applies if you have enough money to allow your wife to not have to work.

You forgot to put snow on the poll. Nothing like being out by yourself, or with friends, cruising down the mountain, with out a thought in the world, but your next turn.

I can't choose. I LOVE boating and being on the water and in the sun so much, but on the other hand, I also love playing in the dirt/shooting/doing whatever the eff we want with no cops in the winter too...

I like the heat so the desert is for me. Nothin better than getting up on hot august morning going for a quad ride, 95 degrees out at 7 am, coming back and jumping in the river by noon looking foreword to that 115 degree afternoon.

I'd pick boating any day.

But we only have the Harley and a loaner SxS these days, and no time really for either one :(

If I had to choose Id keep the bikes and sell the boat.

I use the bikes all year.
Cheaper to use, maintain, insure.
Riding is closer than the river.
Enjoy the solitude of the desert/mountains when camping.
Easy to go just for the day.
Riding/racing keeps me in better shape.

My wife would probably want to keep the boat though.
