Congratulations! I am excited to see what updates you do to it. The 300 is an absolutely awesome Havasu boat. With the molds "missing" there doesn't appear to be any new ones being built in the future.
Mine is a 94' that I believe we have talked about at Islander while enjoying some cold ones...
I might be a little biased but I absolutely love Hallett 300’s. They’re great lake boat’s
1200 hours is pretty dam impressive for any boat to still be in that good of condition

Got pulled into there yesterday and it was a bit of a shit show, I actually think their operation created a safety hazard with all the boats, people, and jet skis they were forcing in and out of the small area. I just waited for the chaos of everyone trying not to hit each other to settle down...
Just got back from a trip there 2 weeks ago with Marine Max. Jost Van Dyke (soggy dollar’s beach during the day and Foxy’s during the evening), and Cooper Island were my favorite. Definitely beautiful out there, hope you guys have an awesome trip!
I had the Dana headers on my old 25’ Shockwave 496HO. They’re not exactly cheap but I would say they’re a good addition to the engine. With the headers the boat ran a size larger prop labbed and worked really well.

Can’t make everybody happy!
I was optimistic, hoping this new model would have more design que’s from Hallett, but it does carry some over. Although it does have Nordic design incorporated in areas, I think it’s a nice boat so far. It’s definitely not a 270 or a 300 but I believe their point...
Excited to see this build completed. Timeless Hallett lines with Nordic bottom hull designs, sounds like an all around great setup!
