I like the 1100’s because you can get kicked tails. The idea is to make flat contact with the water helping the chine walk settle down without scrubbing speed or pushing the bow down. Snowball is right! I would highly consider some Dana 1100s and moving them to the outer edge of the transom parallel to the water. You are going to really increase hp and I think you will find the 22 has its limits.

What about a 1997GTI and a 2007GTI sitting on a tandem axle trailer. I’d have to check but I’d be surprised if the 07 had 30 hrs on it. They haven’t been ran I quite a few years but I could definitely have them serviced and gone through pre buy.

Just know what comes with that. Not sure what the boat has now for power but throwing 750hp in a 22’ boat that was originally rigged for 385hp will have many hurdles along the way.

Had a little ignition gremlin that took a bit to track down after I bought it but once that was sorted it has been absolutely flawless. Motor leaked down less then 5% on every cylinder.

277hrs (gauge seems original) and the 4th from what I know.
