The guy I got the boat from said they went threw the motor and it had a cracked block. So I know block wasn't original. The casting number on intake manifold says it's 67-69 440. I can't see numbers on heads until removed the doghouse

Great info... I'm guessing this one may even weigh more since its wooden, 24 went on to be most popular model but don't see many this style most seem to be like yours RB curious about the fiberglass as well almost seems like a heavy gelcoat. Thanks for the cool story

thanks aloha in your opinion where should we start???? 460 is gonna be right at 500h.p. connected to the th400 from welldigger also does the v drive have directional gears or can you run them either direction and change props?? Meaning is there a chance the casale in the v drive flatty could be...

ok so we decided to stay with the 460 and turbo 400.We picked up and old flatty with a fresh motor and a casale......originally we were gonna use 460 and the casale......but the boat is pretty cool and might just use 460 in the 24 and put stock 460 in flatty......do i need a certain casale for...

ok so a couple questions.......was the hook more severe on certain years???Aloha do you know what gears our in our champion??? im realy leaning twords finding a complete donar boat with 454...... most i have found have a casale are the a better option than champion or just more abundant?????
