That spot is probably the worst there is. The back corner of the dock has a good sized exposed metal "cage" that surrounds the pole. I threw a fender off the back of the boat just as a precaution but I was sketched out about it the whole time we were there. Anywhere else is no problems.
Rad...
Thanks for the heads up on this one, buttered up my resume and submitted it at 6:31 this morning. Been looking for a career change and something water/hands-on is right up my alley.
Now it's a waiting game and crossing my fingers I'm one of the chosen few...
Akebono pads are probably some of the best out there as far as noise/dust/longevity goes. As someone already mentioned, they're a major OEM supplier.
Edit: As far as cracked pads go, a few possibilities. Most likely just cheap pads being overworked. Rotors weren't resurfaced/replaced with pad...
This Igloo that came with my boat... Thinking it may have something to do with the seat cushion top to match the interior but it outlasts anything I've used in the past and what we have at camp (Marine/Extreme Coleman's & the popular soft sided brands).
Makes for a comfy seat too :D
Truck and boat are always cleaned right before a trip. There's been a few times I've had to roll out dirty and it pinned my OCD meter to the max the entire drive looking at the dusty hood.
