The new 21 cougar with a 300r is 119k. Not apples to what you are looking for, but an example. Trick is making a new 23 and I think they are the same money with a 300r.

I like a belt driven pump to take the load off the distributor gear. You can still store oil in a pan and have a external pump.

I turned on the ac to make sure it works. It was quick to make cold air. Haven't got a chance to use it. In a few short burst down the road noise seemed what I would expect. ...had I not read the complaints. It's my first sxs, so I have no bars set. Here is a review

Guy I bought my f26 from was pulling tubes with it. Twin 300x outboards with 23p props. I never tried those props, but have had some 26's on it and it got going pretty good. Rope hooks I left on it.
