Well...I was right on the money re: "Dulls in about a week"...I pulled the cover off yesterday to continue getting it ready to pull to Havasu in three days and DAMMIT!!! It has gone from Before~After~Before like some kind of sick magic :grumble: I did my before & After last weekend. It looks...
The clear is very dull and down to the flake particles~~~ Yes you can feel the flake~ I have used everything I can get my hands on to get it to shine but even wet sanding with 1600 then a shot of rubbing compound and then Finesse It. Only gets me a temporary shine. It will dull in a week or so.
So...I was just sorting through all the threads and this one caught my eye. My boat is a 1978 Kona Mini Daycruiser...it is Woodgrain and Royal Blue Metalflake. The boat spent several years outdoors uncovered. Needless to say, the clear is shot. I have tried to bring out the shine again. Waaaaay...
Goddamn! Skank is back in the saddle~~~ This is one of the best quotes EVER (Thanks DaytonaBabe) I needed a good laugh!!!! This is what LOL was invented for! I would say it's like a breath of fresh air...but we're talkin' bout Skank~~~:eek

That's a good .02 :hmm UNFORTUNATLY...I don't have much problems with too much acceleration G force~~~ It's a stock small block chevy and it's NOT real powerful :( It does it's job though, hasn't left me stranded or had to be trailered ever! My son is 19 now and we are thinking about dropping a...
Mine is a 22' and this one actually looks a little smaller...maybe not. I want to lose my doghouse and go with an upholstered pad across the stern. I think the horseshoe design would be more comfortable although I am concerned about engine access. Maybe hinge the backrest or just make it...
After I posted this last night, I was wondering if anyone would recognize this particular interior and reply...and then I figured maybe someone might know if there is a website that might have plans or drawings of boat interiors. Any clue???
Thanks,
MKD
I have the identical upholstery but I have the open center aisle with two seats facing forward and a doghouse with a seat on each side. and would really like to do this horseshoe shape as my framework is 35 yrs old. My boat is a 78 Kona mini-daycruiser. I would like some pics of the framework if...
