I did it a dozen times or so last year at various water levels. I always hugged the Arizona side all the way to the bridge and never had a problem but it was probably dumb luck. Or maybe my Party Cat has left draft than a V?
I always keep and eye on this...
Theres a lot of good info in this thread about the route from WV and I didnt want to thread-jack anymore. To make this info easier to find I created a new thread and cherry picked quotes from here. Hope you dont mind. WV to needles thread...
There has been a lot of discussion about this scattered all over so I'm hoping to consolidate it into its own thread to make it easier to find and ask questions without thread-jacking.
Hopefully nobody minds, I'm gonna quote the relevant parts from another thread...
Same here...I need to follow someone. I did it a dozen times or so last year at various water levels and never had an issue but it may have been dumb luck.
I'm going to start a thread about the preferred route from the Marina to the bridge because there is lots of info on here but it's kinda...
Here's the back. It's been very interesting watching this be built. Underneath that covered porch on the rear, they excavated it out pretty deep from what I could tell. They then had several large ~15" diameter pipes extending out of the ground. Then they backfilled it. Some sort of...
Ahhh! sorry, I should have clarified... Willow Valley on the river side of the highway. I will pass along the Cimarron lots though, but last post says they are both in escrow.
My google search mentioned something about a lifetime ban. I thought I was in trouble for a minute.
I use a cat pump (positive displacement) at 1000 psi. It will do up to 1 gpm. Since it’s high pressure you need either stainless tube or special plastic line that I can only find from China. Ali express has all the lines, fittings and nozzles. Not cheap but they work great.
If you've been having daily problems the last couple weeks, what street are you on? Mine has been down 4 times today already. Currently out since 10:29. Sometimes 5 minutes, sometimes 30 minutes. Occasionally it doesn't come back up on its own and I have to reboot the modem. I know the east...
For simplicity I'd probably go with a Arris Surfboard SB6190 which will do gigabit speeds if Suddenlink ever gets to it. For a router/wifi I'd get a Nighthawk from Costco. Should be pretty much plug and play. As stated above you will need to get Suddenlink to release your MAC from their DHCP...
Are you in WV too? Which side? It will be an interesting data point since I am 100% confident in my equipment. Im on Carob. Almost all ISP equipment is junk. I knew this going into it and bought my own, very nice, dependable, equipment including a Surfboard modem, Ubiquiti ERX router and...
Anyone in Mohave Valley or Willow Valley specifically have Suddenlink? Is the whole area as bad as my street? It goes down several times a day and take multiple weeks to get anyone to take a address the issue. When they do, it works for a few weeks then starts acting up again. One time I was...
