Orval did not build a lot of them. I only know of two, and both are in Blythe / Ehrenberg area. Hull did not work great and needed the fixed plates. The curved deck by the fuel fills is what makes me sure it is a Nordic.

The ferrys are 70 + years old. A retro fit would mean taking them out of service, one at a time. I have heard talk of new boats. I will update as I learn.

The stupid part of this is the fuel consumption on the little new diesels in the ferries is negligible. One ferry burns twenty-four gallons of fuel in an eight-hour shift.
