I've done lots since my last post so I'm going to catch this up slowly. Mainly I've started remodeling the upstairs bathroom. I'll post the before pics and then the progress pictures. I gutted the bath tub / shower and installed a new tub and plumbing. I also disassembled the cabinet to prepare...
This weekend I bought a new internet tv for the bedroom so naturally the old bedroom tv went to the back porch for watching games from the pool! I had to custom build a mount but eventually got it put up so that the tv swivels for viewing from the pool or porch.
Before I had a chance to finish the backsplash project, the power went out and I soon discovered that my breaker panel (which was on it's last leg when I bought the house ) decided to call it quits. You can see in the picture where the center bar melted at the breaker conjunction. As a result...
I have a couple new projects going on.. I bought synthetic turf and a mount to add a tv to the back porch. First though is the kitchen backsplash. I used travertine to compliment the floors and contrast the counter tops. The tile is laid and awaiting grout.
I spent the weekend of the 4th fixing up the garage. I don't have any "in progress" pics before this point but you can see I added base boards, painted all walls and the ceiling, and added the garage floor epoxy coating. It came out great! I still have the door to paint and some misc things to...

I decided to go with a Jacuzzi bathtub in the master bath since I got a killer deal on a brand new setup recently. I couldn't pass it up. I removed the old tub, ran GFI wiring to power the Jacuzzi motor, and redid the overflow and drain plumbing to fit the new tub. As of now, the tub is...
These pics show the nearly completed countertop. I just have to epoxy the joints and add backsplash and it's done. You can see the completed sink and a couple installed appliances in these pics.
