I'm serious - I'll kick in for a shirt if you get some made up. Docking at the Yardhouse next to that boat was my first exposure to a serious offshore boat and I've always thought it was badass.
If you can post/send his info I'd appreciate it. My boat stays in the garage and isn't in bad shape, but the deck could be buffed out and I don't know if I feel like doing it.
I haven't found anyone reliable with good quality in Phoenix. It might be worthwhile to check with DCB to see if this is something that they would be interested in doing, depending on if they have the time and interest to take on this kind of work,
I've never used one, but I can say that having a side door on a big V bottom would be a huge benefit. In my boat, my bow is 5' above the sand when I beach it in some areas. I bought one of the portable swim steps that attach to a cleat which helps to get on and off of the boat, but a side...
I remember going to the drag races at Firebird as a kid, standing waist deep in the water watching the races before they stopped letting spectators in the water.

Yes that’s our youngest who is 14. Our oldest is 16. I guess it’s true that time flies…

This last week was spring break for our kids. We wanted to go to a beach with warm weather, but also wanted to stay within the US to keep the travel easy. We have gone to Destin and Navarre for spring before, but the weather in March is hit or miss so we were looking for another spot to try...
I'm pretty sure that there was a period of time where both bottoms were offered. I've spent a good amount of time in an early 2000's straight bottom 270 and it's a great all around boat. I have never ridden in a stepped bottom 270, but have heard that they are a "drivers boat" so to speak.
