You know, i thought about that. There are marks on the drivers side of the plate and a corresponding transom plug indicating there was a second pickup mounted. That might also make for a cleaner install, two less lines from the tstat housing. Thanks!!
Perfect info thnks! Im having to pull the front off in hopes of finding a cam number, hoping its not on the back. I bought the motor refreshed from a builder.

Thanks!! I have a marine cam question, with the wet headers, is the overlap in a drag car cam going to cause water to be injested? Might post that in a different place... hmmmm. My new 496 is for a car i am building, just thinking about a cam swap.
I put this in new members first, time to move it here. This 74 Sanger was in a barn 1/2 mile from my house for 21 yrs. New motor is ready but I'm going through every part of the boat first.
