There are quite a few options for colored fastners i just haven't decided exactly how I want to finish it off. The engine will be complelty covered by the hatch. Nothing will show through it. The entire engine compartment with the exception of the bottom of the hatch is blue so I dont...
Thanks. I have a few pieaces to make for it still and a ton of details to finish when I get it back
I havent shared alot of info with many people. I originally intended to build a modest 1200 hp blowen deal for it. But as time.went on it turned into this monster. As others have mentioned...
Do you have a link to the other thread? I'm curious what info is out there? I haven't shared many of the details with anyone other then its nasty.. lol
If you want durability powder coat it. If you want a showey finish paint it... powder coat is also the cheaper option. If you haven't shopped prices yet you should know the cost of material alone will exceed the cost of a good quality powder coat job.
If you paint it any single stage with a...
That what I was curious about. I'm so tired of having to have everything replaced every 10 to 15k miles. Gm is honoring the warranty on my truck to 188k because of all the issues but I think just ditching it and forgetting about the warranty is going to be the way to go. I was curious about...
It's just sitting pretty for now. Work is consuming 100% of my time and the set back on the motor killed any chance of having it in the water this year. We will be out with it come spring.
And with the new upgrades where you at now?
My system just to a crap agian for the 7th time so its all coming off tomorrow morning...
Are you swapping all those parts back and forth every 2 years? And what are you doing for exhaust did you leave the cat and filter in place?
Thank you. Not alot of updates on the motor. I'm swamped at work so progress is slow. I have trouble leaving well enough alone sometimes. I just finished cerakoting the pistons and will be cerakoting the rest of the motor soon.

I had a cp4 let go in my 2011 which is fairly common. It was just over 10k repair bill. GM provided a 2014 cp4-2 pump and from what I've read that fixes the problem?
It probably isnt thick enough for that large of a bolt You could drill through the one wall and then drill some large drain holes on the bottom and fish a nut up inside the channel I would not drill through both walls and try to through bolt it either without installing a crush sleeve...
I put them on my trailer. I wouldnt be concerned about using them. It would take one insane impact to shear the mounting bolt or break the tab. I'd guess the strap itself would be the weakest link in the setup. I didn't care much for the single shear mounting tab everyone uses
I did see...
