That is an incredible shot...:thumbsup I hope to hit LOTO one day in the near future.
How you recovering jay?
Thanks for asking, Tank...
doing better than I ever would have expected. Haven't had a lot of contact with hospitals over the years since I gave up dirt bikes in my 20's.
Forgive me if this is repeat, because I can't remember what I've posted where, but the laser, robotic surgery is nothing short of incredible.
The surgeon told me he never touched me- robot did everything- built a titanium 'ladder' around the broken one, rods down either side of my spine and screwed to the broke one and one on either side.
been up and about since I got back to Florida, driving for a week now. now that the healing is getting to that stage of discomfort more than pain, the area feels stronger than ever, but still getting used to having that structure in there. Still can be uncomfortable if I get twisted, so I try not to.
Happy as a clam about LOTO, was worried about the reocovey- but not now.
Speaking of LOTO- it is too early for a photo thread, but gotta throw some sponsor love out to them and all my friends who help make this possible.

That's good to hear- they told me I would be good as new.
I think what I'm feeling is the scar tissue forming-
I get the feeling that once all is healed, I won't feel much.
The L4 had a pretty good crack but not a complete break.
I guess because of its location near my pelvis, they filled it with some organic 'glue' that promotes bone growth.
Those 2 incisions are much smaller than the other 6.
Some people just manage to stand out in any crowd...
