Except in this case it would be kind of like driving down the freeway and having some people tow their kids on skateboards that occasionally fall right in front of you, and they are swerving from lane to lane without using signals or checking mirrors..

I've been going to Parker since I was a kid, holiday weekends included. Went for a ride in Lynchs boat and I was nervous wreck, jet skiers and tubers everywhere and it seemed like 75% of the boats weren't getting on plane just plowing through the water.

I will say this though, that is by far the worst water I have been in in a 21' boat and I'm sold on Schiada, didn't faze that boat one bit. I've been a vector cheerleader forever and I know a Vector wouldn't have cut through that water the way lynchs boat did.

I was getting pounded on the way to the dam when he passed me. Might of been you sitting shotgun, I had to come of plane several times the waves were so big in my path.

I had to stop and almost get rear ended by 6 boats cause some idiot decided to whip the tubers off in one of the narrowest parts of the river with 4-6' wakes and no less than 20 boats within 100 yards.

I agree, I don't know what people were thinking putting their kids on tubes. They very easily could've gotten ran over .

Us as drivers get used to it, but put the wife in the pass seat no matter how many cocktails she has and she turns into a wreck that even alcohol cant calm.

To make things worse, we even saw a pontoon with 2 of the medium size sit down tubes behind with loaded with kids...

There's no way I would put myself or the wife through that with the kids on the back. Has nothing to do with trusting my skills, it has to do with trusting everyone else, and in a case like this, I dont trust anyone.

Sunday night cruise back to OD1's house almost had a head on with a guy in a deep v cig that decided to flip a 180 to the inside of the river, and the thing was soo big he wasnt even getting on it, just mashing through the water with the bow pointed to the moon, thank god I had my spot light, he couldnt see shit over the bow, we turned away from him and he finally turn back into his lane, needless to say the people on my boat were a little freaked out after that one...

I've never been on the water in Parker, but I've seen plenty of pictures of the traffic from busy weekends and I'm surprised that skiing, tubing, and whatever other recreational towables are allowed during those times. Seems to me like there is just way too many boats in too small of an area!

I've been through the George during the busiest of times where towables and skiing are not allowed and cant imagine having to deal with that extra obstacle on the water.

The gorge does not allow skiing at any time. Anything north of topock or south of the river mouth is fair game for water sports, no matter what time of year. So during holiday weekends north of topock you get the same kind of driving.
