One of these days I really want to come up and check out your deal Don!! Talking to Thane it sounds like paradise
Not sure if they are still there, but for a brief time in 2008 I dated a girl who's family had a place. Brian and Rachelle Bootow.
I went to high school with Rocky and her sis Michelle. I dated Michelle off and on over the last 20 years.Bootows are very good friends of ours! We see them more in OC then WV since Brian sold his share in the house to his partner Eric.
We just bought in, and looking forward to a great summer of using both lakes, and river!
Driven through there several times to check it out. We looked at WV but ended up buying/building down the road a bit. Is there a tweaker population in WV?
To echo what many have said, Willow Valley is an awesome spot. A good friend's family has had a place there for 20+ years. Joined them for my 1st river trip at 17 (bought 1st POS boat immediately after and it's been downhill ever since ). Very cool diverse community with everything from retirees in single wide trailers to custom built homes with 50' RV garages. Only drawback to private marina is low water levels in AM and the rock bar which lies just South. Definitely need a local to show you the correct routes.

Is there a "better" section of Willow Valley?
For example, north of King Street, west of Golden Valley Road?
Hey Zack, are you in WV often? Let me know I use a fair amount of your product and will buy some when you come in town. The crew we run with there all use your stuff.
Welcome to WV riverbrian! We are on Green Valley - Tree Side.

I'm hoping with the new boat it will be a little easier going past the bridge in Needles. We used to launch the Nordic in bullhead and go to havasu but something told me not to continue doing it.
If we are ever out there at the same time, I'd be happy to show you the route through some of the shallower spots.
There is a tweeker issue at times, kind of ebb and flow. That's the problem with an community that is primarily weekenders.
That said, nothing a quality alarm system and gun can't address. My place has cameras and alarm for when I am not there and Smith & Wesson for when I am. Never had a problem. Those that don't have security system are easy targets.
We met a guy in gambling in Laughlin a few weeks back that knew you pretty well as he had a place there up until him and his wife parted ways.
