The stock Dana 20 in the back blew up and was replaced with a currie 9 inch ford with disc brakes.

Front remains a dana 30. 76's had drum brakes so I replace the knuckles out with 78 knuckles and disc brakes.

This months project is fixing a bad bearing in the 3 speed, re-sealing the transmission and the transfer case, replacing the throw out bearing, changing the proportioning valve, making new brake lines, and fabricating a hitch to finally use my never used 2011 jet ski.

It is basically Frankenstein with a 401.

Pictures as I go, other than my liver which will become cirrhotic. :D

????? Dana 20 is a transfer case. Never heard of a Dana 20 axle..... the axles I am familiar with are Dana 27, 30, 44 or 60. But maybe I don't know everything. :)

You could be right. We always referred to the transfer case as a "spicer 20"?

Edit;

You are right. It is a Dana Spicer 20 transfer case.

And the stock rear ends in 76 jeeps are Dana 20 rear ends.

Great thing about RDP, you learn something every day.

Jeeps have an AMC 20 rear end, at least mine does. Mini spooled and Superior alloy axles.

I got rid of the Dana 20 T case, and useless 3 speed for a NP 465/205 combo. (46:1 low range)

Gracie is always welcome on the boat :thumbsup J.R. and June would love a new friend.

Gracie says thank you. [emoji106]I don't know if I could put my dog oh wait. My wife's dig in another persons boat. My OCD would probably go into over drive. [emoji12][emoji202]
